Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method for enhancing the production of butyric acid using Clostridium tyrobutyricum is provided to effectively enhance the production of butyric acid by adding an electron mediator to a medium of the strain and fermenting, or supplying an electron to the medium. CONSTITUTION: A method for enhancing the production of butyric acid using Clostridium tyrobutyricum comprises the step of adding an electron mediator to a medium of the strain and fermenting, or supplying an electron to the medium using a reduction electrode and fermenting. The method enhances the production of butyric acid without reduction or generating byproducts. The byproduct is an acetic acid. The electron mediator is a methyl viologen (MV).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Wood biomass saccharified liquid is provided to remove or reduce toxicity of lignin originated fermentation inhibitors, to reduce loss of sugar, and to minimize processing costs. CONSTITUTION: Saccharified liquid made by hydrolysis pre-processing of wood biomass is prepared. Toxicity is reduced or removed by adding a surfactant into the saccharified liquid. The surfactant forms a micelle by reacting with a hydrophobic component of a phenolic compound in the saccharified liquid. The wood biomass saccharified liquid in which toxicity is reduced or removed is fermented. The fermentation is performed by adding a microorganism in the saccharified liquid. More than one phenolic compound is selected from a group consisting of ferulic acid, coumaric acid, benzoic acid, syringic acid, vanilic acid, valilin, 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, 4-hydroxybenzaldehyde, and syringaldehyde. The content of the surfactant is 0.01-10 g/L based on the saccharified liquid. 본명세서에는수소화효소유전자발현을억제하기위한안티센스 RNA 분자, 그를포함하는조성물, 그를암호화하는 DNA 서열을포함하는벡터, 상기안티센스 RNA 분자또는그를암호화하는 DNA 서열을포함하거나또는상기벡터로형질전환된숙주세포, 및그 숙주세포를이용한물질생산방법이개시된다. 이를이용하면수소화효소발현을억제시킬수 있고그에따라수소생산이감소하여부티르산과같이유용한물질생산을증가시키면서아세트산과같은부산물을감소시킬수 있고, 목당을효과적으로활용하여부티르산과같은유용물질을생산할수 있다.

In the present invention, provided is a novel Asticcacaulis silvisoli CGM1-3EN strain for decomposing lignin, wherein the accession number thereof is KCTC 12464BP. In the present invention, the Asticcacaulis silvisoli CGM1-3EN strain is cultured under a particular condition, thereby decomposing lignin or lignin from wood-based biomass in a more efficient manner. Therefore, the Asticcacaulis silvisoli CGM1-3EN strain is used to produce various compounds and derivatives like lignin derivatives, cellulose and hemicellulose from wood-based biomass and produce biofuel from the same.

목질계 바이오매스를 가수분해 전처리한 당화액을 준비하는 단계 및 상기 당화액에 전기화학적 제독 방법을 이용하여 독성을 감소시키는 단계를 포함하는, 독성이 감소 또는 제거된 목질계 바이오매스 당화액의 제조방법이 제공된다. 상기 방법은 전처리 과정 중에 생성되는 미생물 생장 및 발효를 저해하는 화합물들의 독성을 효율적으로 제거할 수 있다. 또한 독성 제거 과정 중에 당의 손실과 부가적인 비용을 최소화함으로써 생산효율을 높일 수 있다.
