PURPOSE: A novel azetidine derivative and an anti-depression composition containing the same are provided to effectively suppress reuptake of dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine with reduced side effects. CONSTITUTION: An anti-depression composition contains a novel azeditine derivative of chemical formula 1 or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. In chemical formula 1: R_1 is hydrogen or methyl; R_2 is hydrogen, C1-C5 linear or branched alkyl, -COC_6H_5, or substituted or non-substituted phenyl or benzyl; R_3 is a substituted or non-substituted C6-C12 aromatic compound; and X is halogen.
