Abstract: PURPOSE: A surface plasmon color filter is provided to increase light penetration efficiency using surface plasmon resonance phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A surface plasmon color filter comprises a substrate (105), a metal thin film (115), and a first dielectric layer (120). The metal thin film is formed on the substrate and comprises two or more unit cells having multiple nano holes. The first dielectric layer is formed on the metal thin film. Holes formed on a first unit cell are formed in a different direction to holes formed in a second unit cell. If a second dielectric layer (120) is added to the surface plasmon color filter, dielectric substances contained in the first and second dielectric layers are same.
