    Abstract: The present invention relates to a compact flexible robot. Multiple elastic body units are serially connected to form a main body. A wire and a pneumatic line are connected on the side of the main body, and a photographing instrument is formed on the other side of the main body. Nozzles are formed on the elastic body units, which form the main body, and servo valves are installed on each nozzle. The main body is moved by a counteraction of a pneumatic spurt of the nozzles caused by the operation of the servo valves. The compact flexible robot is thereby capable of moving and searching freely inside a narrow clearance space so as to be utilized in case of various disasters, a safety inspection of a large plant, and anti-terrorism and military operations.
