    Abstract: PURPOSE: A quantum dot which is nano-sized semi-conductive crystal with excellent luminous efficiency and stability and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance luminous efficiency and stability. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a quantum dot(200) comprises the following stages: forming a plurality of unit quantum dots(100); dispersing the unit quantum dots in a solvent; adding silica sol to the solvent; and forming a silicon oxide layer(50) which surrounds the unit quantum dot by adding a compound including a hydroxy group to the solvent. The silica sol is manufactured by mixing tetraethyl orthosilicate, hydrochloric acid and distilled water. The tetraethyl orthosilicate, hydrochloric acid and distilled water are mixed at the volume ratio of 770-11,600: 1 : 100-1,000.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A nano-composite including quantum dot for wavelength conversion and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve light stability and luminous effect and to have irreversible property by performing annealing processing at high temperature. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of nano-composite comprises the following steps: obtaining a mixture by mixing quantum dot and polymer; obtaining annealing-processed mixture by performing annealing process; and obtaining nano-composite including the quantum dot by irradiating UV on the annealing processed mixture. The annealing is performed at 100-170 deg. Celsius for 1-3 hours. The UV irradiation is processed with UV intensity of 30-50W, wavelength of 20-40 nano meters and exposure time of 1-24 hours.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A bi-shaft material testing machine is provided to prevent the damage to a bi-shaft testing machine and to give accurate data by removing the effect of horizontal load on a shaft. CONSTITUTION: A bi-shaft material testing machine comprises a horizontal-force generator(200) and a support plate(110). The horizontal-force generator provides the horizontal load for a sample. The support plate makes contact with a shaft. The support plate supports the horizontal load on the shaft. One or both sides of the support plate are coupled to a head guide. The support plate enables a central area to make contact with at least one of an upper shaft(14) or a lower shaft(15). The upper shaft is mounted between a cross head and the sample. The lower shaft is mounted between a table and the sample. A support block(130) is fixed to the shaft. The support block makes contact with the support plate and has a plate shape. A female coupling unit is formed on one of surfaces, on which the support block and the support plate face.
