    Abstract: Method and device for providing a multicast service are disclosed.     Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for providing lightweight multicast in a data distributing service are provided to restore the congestion of networks based on minimized controlling commands. CONSTITUTION: A network congesting detecting part(111) multicasts packets based on reader node terminals and detects the congestion causes of networks based on negative responding messages transmitted from reader node terminals without the reception of the packets. A network restoring controlling part(112) determines restoring policies according to the congestion causes of the networks and overcomes the congestion causes.
