A system and a method for protecting contents of broadcast are provided to protect the broadcasting streams of plural IPTV channels by creating encryption processes as many as the number of IPTV channels and distributing the encryption processes about the broadcasting streams of the corresponding IPTV channels. A key management sever(11) allocates IPTV channels by encryption sever by using the number and the system information of the encrypted severs according to an IPTV channel allocation request of at least two encryption severs(12), and transmits the distributed and allocated IPTV channel information and the encrypted key information to at least two encryption severs. The encryption severs encrypts the broadcasting streams of the distributed and allocated IPTV channels by using the encrypted key information, and transmits the encrypted broadcasting streams to a content reproduction device(14). A program guide sever(13) provides the content reproduction device with information as to a channel list of a broadcasting IPTV channel, a broadcasting program, etc.

A bidirectional IPTV broadcast service method and a system thereof are provided to enable a guest to attend a broadcast remotely without inviting the guest to a studio, thereby supplying various type broadcast services. In a bidirectional IPTV broadcasting system, a broadcast controller(100) controls a bidirectional IPTV broadcast. A client(200) performs the existing IPTV STB function and simultaneously provides bidirectional IPTV broadcast services to a viewer. A platform server(400) transmits an actual broadcast stream to the viewer at a reserved time. A media server(300) controls the client participating in the bidirectional IPTV broadcast service. The media server performs a media server headend function which mixes media streams from the broadcast controller and the client.

According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a router comprising a number calculator for counting the cumulative number of multiple requests corresponding to multiple previously requested contents, and the request number of a request signal on random contents currently inputted; a probability calculator for calculating a random probability value on the random contents based on the cumulative number of multiple requests and the request number; and a policy determining part for determining whether to store the random contents provided to a random terminal which has transmitted the request signal from a random contents server based on the random probability value and a reference probability value determined.

CONSTITUTION: A broadcast program information storage unit(210) stores the broadcast preview guide information. A broadcast preview image generator unit(220) receives the broadcast preview guide information from the broadcast program information storage unit. The broadcast preview image generator unit generates a broadcasting preview output image. PURPOSE: A method for providing a multi angle digital broadcasting service is provided to implement a multi angle service in an IPTV by providing a photographed image of selected angle in 3D stereo image type. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of cameras(10-1 to 10-5) each generates right/left stereo images. A multi angle broadcasting service providing device(20) encodes the photographed images recording from a plurality of cameras in transport stream type. The multi angle broadcast service providing device performs inter-stream synchronization. A user terminal(30) outputs the transport stream through screen. If user requests the multi angle screen, the user terminal outputs the transport stream about the corresponding multi angle screen.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for inserting or extracting timestamp information are provided to transmit network time schedule display information efficiently without violating a transmission standard. CONSTITUTION: A timestamp information generator(110) generates time schedule display information utilized in time synchronization between transmission and reception terminals or network jitter compensation. A packetizer(100) creates a real time transport protocol packet or a user datagram protocol including transport stream packets and the time schedule display information. The packetizer periodically creates and inserts the UDP or RTP packet including the time schedule display information.
