Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for ordering of off-line characters from a natural scene are provided to suggest angular normalization, structural feature position determination, and structural feature numeral string generation methods, thereby highly recognizing off-line characters of various fonts regardless of angles or sizes of the characters. CONSTITUTION: A pre-processor (100) extracts off-line characters from an image, performs binarization of the off-line characters through a predetermined threshold, and performs thinning of the binarized off-line characters to have a fixed thickness. A normalizer (200) normalizes the pre-processed characters into characters corresponding to a predetermined standard. A code allocator (300) allocates chain codes that indicate a progressive direction of each stroke and intersection points that indicate strokes are crossed each other to points constituting the normalized characters. An ordering unit (400) transforms the characters with allocated codes or points into numeralized data using structural features containing end points or intersection points of the characters. PURPOSE: A security control device, an orbit security device a control robot, a security control service system and method are provided to freely transfer a control robot device to a wide region regardless of road conditions of a driving path. CONSTITUTION: A control command input unit(120) is input a control command in regard to a security target place. A security data transmitting and receiving unit(130) transmits and receives the control command or security data for security control through the communication with an orbit protective device. The orbit protective device obtains the neighboring security data while traveling along an orbit installed at the security target place. A security data storing unit(140) stores the security data. A security data analysis module(150) analyzes the security data and determines abnormal situations of the security target place. The security data analysis module creates a control instruction for combination or separation of a control robot device and the orbit security device according to a determining result of the abnormal situations and transmits it through the security data transmitting and receiving unit. A security data output unit(160) outputs data for the abnormal situations of the security target place.

PURPOSE: A method for extracting text area and an extraction apparatus are provided to accurately extract character area from an image with low resolution and noise. CONSTITUTION: A method for extracting text area comprises: a step of generating text area prediction value within a second image based on database with geometric information to the text area of a first image(110); a step of determining text recognition to a text enable area within the second image(120); and a step of selecting a text area within the second image(130).

PURPOSE: A vehicle identifier recognition system and method thereof are provided to effectively extract the number of a vehicle by determining an identifier type. CONSTITUTION: An ROI(Region Of Interest) extraction unit(110) extracts ROI from an input image based on training images. An identifier region selecting unit(120) selects an identifier area including the identifier of a vehicle according to the ROI. An identifier recognition unit(130) recognizes the identifier of the vehicle by analyzing the identifier area according to the type of the identification area. A training image analysis unit(180) creates a pre-learning result based on a common data by analyzing training images.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and a device for recognizing human information. The disclosed method for recognizing human information comprises a step of generating sensor data-based human information comprising the identification, the location, and the behavior information of a human body existing in a recognition space by analyzing sensor data from multiple sensor resources arranged in the recognition space; a step of generating fused human information by fusing human information from a robot and human information from the sensor data, obtained and provided through interaction between a mobile robot terminal located in the recognition space and a human located in the recognition space, according to the location of the mobile robot and the state of the interaction; and a step of storing a human module according to the fused human information with respect to the human existing in the recognition space, in a database. Accordingly, the present invention is advantageous in improving the reliability of recognition information on the identification, the location, and the behavior information of a user when a plurality of users exist, by fusing multiple sensor resources installed in the recognition space and resources from a robot.

PURPOSE: A disguised face discriminating apparatus and method thereof which uses a linear discriminating technique are provided to permit to use a system only for a user whose face is opened by a determining normal face and a disguised face. CONSTITUTION: A first disguise processor(110) receives a face image including left side/right side face images. A second disguise processor(130) receives the face image including left side/right side face images and to performs second disguise process according to a linear technique. A final linear determining unit(140) receives the result value of the first and the second disguise processor. The final linear return value is outputted according to the linear technique. A comparator(150) compares a face image with a final linear return value.
