Abstract: Disclosed are a system and a method for supporting real time broadcast contents search using a fingerprint, which provide easy search and filtering of real time broadcast contents. The method includes the steps of: registering fingerprints and metadata by each channel, which are extracted from a channel stream by the each channel; determining whether there is a fingerprint corresponding to requested real time stream contents on the basis of a real time contents search request received from a search service device; and transmitting the corresponding fingerprint to the search service device if there is a corresponding fingerprint. Accordingly, by using a double fingerprint DB interlocking structure in which a real time stream contents fingerprint DB is separated from a program contents fingerprint DB, the real time stream contents fingerprint DB is maintained with a small size. Thus, search and filtering of real time broadcast contents are possible by supporting update and search functions of a fingerprint DB in real time. Additionally, the size of a fingerprint DB is optimized according to an application and the present invention interlocks with an existing contents search and filtering system easily.

Abstract: Disclosed are a device and a method for measuring an audio quality using fingerprints and feeling feature information.
