PURPOSE: A method for registering access point in a positioning system based on a WLAN is provided to reduce the time for establishing AP(Access Point) location. CONSTITUTION: An AP information collecting unit receives a space information identifier of AP from a user(S410). The AP information collecting unit outputs the map corresponding to the space information-identifier(S430). The AP information collecting unit receives location information in which the AP is installed using the map(S440). The AP information collecting unit changes the relative coordinate information(S450). The AP information collecting unit registers the relative coordinate information to the location information of the AP(S460).
Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for arranging an access point for wireless measurement are provided to reduce time and manpower by determining an AP(Access Point) arrangement based on a simulation. CONSTITUTION: One or more APs are arranged on a digital map(S101). A location error is calculated according to a GP(Grid Point) on the digital map(S103). A first ratio of the GP with the location error with regard to the entire GP below a first threshold value is calculated on the digital map(S104). A GP ratio with a DOP(Dilution of Precision) with regard to the entire GP below the threshold value and the GP ratio with the phase error below the threshold value are respectively compared with the preset threshold values(S105). If the first ratio is below a second threshold value, one or more AP are rearranged on the digital map(S107).

Wi-Fi 시스템에서 접속 지점(AP; Access Point)의 위치 추정 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 상기 위치 추정 장치는 적어도 3개의 측정 지점(MP; Measurement Point)에서 상기 AP로부터 전송되는 신호의 세기를 측정하고, 가상 감쇠 인자(imaginary attenuation factor)를 선택하고, 상기 가상 감쇠 인자와 상기 각 MP에서 측정된 신호의 세기를 기반으로 상기 각 MP와 상기 AP 간의 거리를 각각 계산하고, 상기 각 MP의 위치를 중심으로 하고 상기 각 MP와 상기 AP 간의 거리를 반지름으로 하는 범위원(ranging circle)들의 교차점을 각각 계산한다. 상기 가상 감쇠 인자가 변화하면서 서로 다른 교차점이 계산되며, 이 중 최적 교차점이 결정된다. 상기 최적의 교차점이 상기 AP의 위치로 추정된다.

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for estimating a location of an access node are provided to accurately estimate a location of an AP to a measurement point. CONSTITUTION: The strength of a signal which is transmitted from an AP is measured. An imaginary attenuation factor is selected. Distance between the MP and the AP is calculated(S110). A cross point of range circles is calculated(S120). An optimum cross point is calculated(S150). The optimum cross point is estimated to the location of the AP.

PURPOSE: A device and a method for determining position terminal are provided to measure a terminal, a BS, and a distance between BSs through one way communication, thereby reducing communication load of a network. CONSTITUTION: A BSs(200b,200c) transfers receiving time information of output signal of mobile terminal after delay of predetermined time to reference BS(200a) through wireless data communication. The BS transfers transfer time information of an output signal to reference station with the receiving time information. The reference station transfers signal receiving time information of the BS, the receiving time information of the output signal, and time information of BS to positioning server(300). A positioning determine server determines a location of a mobile terminal by the time information.

PURPOSE: An infra information collecting device and a method thereof, and a position measuring method and a system thereof are provided to quickly and accurately measure an AP position through an indoor map in an indoor space. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives wireless communication infra information based on an indoor map from a position server(S300,S310). The first position calculating module obtains identification information and a signal measuring value of adjacent APs(S320). The first position calculating module checks positions of the APs from the wireless communication infra information(S330). The terminal calculates a position of the terminal based on the checked AP positions and a signal measuring signal(S340).

PURPOSE: A receiving signal detecting method and a satellite navigation receiving detecting device for implementing the same are provided to increase the signal detection probability in given false alarm probability by adding the verification procedure about the correlation result in a signal detection process. CONSTITUTION: A verification unit detects a parallel signal(S101). A correlation matrix produced through the detection procedure is saved(S103). The verification unit decides the unusual condition of the saved correlation value(S105). According to the decision result, a detection unit declares signal absence(S107). According to the decision result, a selecting unit selectively saves the candidate cell for the correlation value verification(S109). The verification unit is created the inside demodulation signal by using the information of each cell included in the candidate cell. The verification unit performs the correlation at the time area(S111). The verification unit compares the result of the non-coherent accumulation with the verification critical value which is defined in advance(S113). The detection unit declares false alarm(S115). The detection unit declares signal presence(S117).
