Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus for collecting vehicle diagnosis information is provided to effeciently collect vehicle diagnosis information by eliminating interference between vehicle protocols. CONSTITUTION: A converting unit(311~316) receives a plurality of frames according to different protocols from a plurality of vehicle networks in the form of electric signals. The converting unit converts the plurality of frames into a plurality of optical signals including different wavelengths according to the wavelength previously allocated to each protocol. An optical multiplexing unit(320) creates a WDM signal by using the WDM(Wavelength Division Multiplexing) of the optical signals. The optical multiplexing unit transmits the WDM signal through an optical cable.

PURPOSE: A device and a method of supplying electric power for multimedia devices in a vehicle are provided to perform smooth electric power supply in a multimedia device by sub battery within a vehicle, thereby providing stable operation of the multimedia device within the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A main battery(100) supplies power inside a vehicle. A sub battery(104) receives power form a main battery. The sub battery receives power to a multimedia device(106) in the vehicle. If the main battery and the sub battery is connected, a switch(102) performs cutting and settling of a connected part. A switch control unit(108) controls the switch. A starting recognition sensor(110) recognizes starting state.

PURPOSE: At high speed, the transit time computation system and method accurately decide the speeding whether or not on highway. CONSTITUTION: A rest area entrance gate apparatus(210) at high speed produces the driving distance and the transit time to cope with that of the vehicles of the vehicles in the rest area entry by the basis. A communication system in a network inside a ship and a method thereof are provided to minimize the inconvenience caused when users use only an existing cable communication network, and expand the work space. An optical network unit(100) provides the optical communication by being connected to a power line communication unit(200). The power line communication unit provides the power line communication by being connected to a wireless communication unit(300). The wireless communication unit is used for the communication between terminals located within the same shielded area. The wireless communication unit and power line communication unit are used for the communication between terminals located within different shielded areas.

A method and apparatus for returning a cleaning robot to a charge station are provided to prevent a battery of the cleaning robot from being fully discharged causing discontinuing of a cleaning operation, by detecting an actual return distance and allowable return distance based on remaining time of battery. A method for returning a cleaning robot to a charge station comprises the steps of: measuring a remaining time of battery, a traveling speed, an actual return distance of a cleaning robot while a cleaning operation is on progress(420); calculating an allowable return distance based on the remaining time of battery and traveling speed; comparing the actual return distance with the allowable return distance(422); returning the cleaning robot to a charge station if the actual return distance is larger than the allowable return distance(426); after recharging of the cleaning robot is started, periodically measuring the remaining time of battery during the recharge of the cleaning robot, and performing a cleaning operation when the remaining time of battery exceeds a remaining reference time of battery(440,400,402).

메쉬구조의 동기식 네트워크에서 LCAS를 이용한 다중 계층 복구 방법이 개시된다. 먼저, 망내에 장애가 발생하면 하드웨어적 복구를 수행하고, 하드웨어적 복구를 통해 장애가 극복되지 않으면, 선계획 복구 방식을 통해 장애 복구를 수행한다. 선계획 복구 방식을 통해 장애가 극복되지 않으면, 장애가 발생한 선로를 지나는 채널들이 LCAS를 사용하는지 판단한다. 채널들이 LCAS를 사용하면 채널들에 LCAS 기능을 적용하고, 채널들이 LCAS를 사용하지 않으면 동적 복구 방식을 통해 장애를 복구한다. 이로써, 복구 시간의 증가로 인한 데이터 손실을 최소화하고 예비 채널의 확보 실패시의 서비스 중단을 극복할 수 있다. 소프트웨어적 복구, LCAS, 선계획 복구, 동적 복구

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for responding the failure occurrence of a highway non-stop tollgate system are provided to previously prevent the collision accident of vehicles generated by the sudden stop of the vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A sensing unit(202) detects the failure occurrence of a highway non-stop tollgate system. A processing unit(203) responds the detected failure and determines the limit speed of vehicles. A providing unit provides the determined limit speed to the driver of an approaching vehicle. The providing unit functions as a transmitting unit and a displaying unit displaying the detected failure or determined limit speed.
