PURPOSE: A device for measuring a physiological signal of a driver is provided to safely measure a physiological signal without an obstruction when a vehicle travels using a conductive fabric electrode sensor. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a physiological signal of a driver comprises a conductive fabric electrode(210) and a signal generator. The conductive fabric electrode is spread on one of a wheel frame, a gear stick, an armrest, and a window frame in a vehicle. And the conductive fabric electrode senses a physiological current by being in contact with the body of a driver. The signal generator generates an electric signal corresponding to the physiological current.
Abstract:
A garment for physiological signal measurement and a system for processing physiological signal are provided to obtain exact physiological information by manufacturing a garment for physiological signal measurement in consideration of muscle form and moving characteristics of a human body. A garment(110) is made of an elastic fabric, and comprises a mesh structure and a elastic band(116). At least one or more physiological signal sensing electrode(120) is sewed to the garment. A physiological signal transmitting part(130) is sewed to the garment, and transmits a physiological signal obtained from the physiological signal sensing electrode. Physiological information measuring module(140a) measures various physiological information from the physiological signal delivered through the physiological signal transmitting part. The physiological signal sensing electrode is made of a conductive fabric. The physiological signal transmitting part comprises a transmission wire(132) and a wire cover(134). The transmission wire transmits a physiological signal sensed by the physiological signal sensing electrode to the physiological information measuring module. The wire cover insulates the transmission wire from a skin of a human body.

PURPOSE: An unrestraint wearable type respiratory failure alarm device and method are provided to easily detect whether respiratory failure is generated or not by minimally restraining the action of a user and estimating the change of a breathing rate of the user. CONSTITUTION: A resistance-voltage conversion unit(121) changes a resistance value offered from a chest circumference measuring unit into an analog voltage value. An A/D converter(123) changes the analog voltage value changed in the resistance-voltage conversion unit into a digital value and digitalizes the digital value. A cross section volume calculation unit(125) calculates cross section volume of a chest by using the digitalized digital value. A breathing rate calculation unit(127) calculates a breathing rate of a user through the calculated cross section volume. A respiratory failure sensor(129) monitors the change of the breathing rate.

PURPOSE: A portable consumed calories measuring apparatus is provided to accurately measure the amount of calories consumption by verifying the breathing amount and the movement of a user. CONSTITUTION: A portable consumed calories measuring apparatus includes a breath measuring unit(100), a plurality of movement detecting units(201 to 203), and a controlling unit(300). The breath measuring unit measures the air amount inhaled through the nose of a user and acquires a breathing signal. The movement detecting units acquires an acceleration signal reflecting the size and the direction of movement. The controlling unit analyzes the acceleration signal and verifies the movement amount and the movement pattern of the user. The gymnastic intensity of the user is verified based on the analysis of the breathing signal. Wasted calories are calculated.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring bio-signals is provided to easily replace a memory and a battery by dividing a necessary module for measuring bio-signals into function blocks. CONSTITUTION: First and second detection electrodes(10,20) are attached to the skin of a human body in order to detect bio-signals. A bio-signal detection module(110) is mounted in the first detection electrode and generates the bio-signals data based on the detected bio-signals. A power supply module(120) is mounted in the second detection electrode. A power supply module supplies power to the bio-signal detection module. A connection line interlinks the bio-signal detection module with the power supply module.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for monitoring a health index using a conductive fiber are provided to detect a user bio-signal by using the resistance of a conductive fiber which is variable according to user volume and temperature. CONSTITUTION: A bio-signal acquisition unit(10) is worn on a user body. The bio-signal acquisition unit measures a bio-signal by using a conductive fiber having resistance which is varied according to a user volume and temperature. A health index acquisition unit(20) obtains a health index by analyzing the bio-signal. The health index report unit(30) informs the user of the health index. The bio-signal includes more than one of pulse frequency, electrocardiogram, respiration rate, and temperature.

PURPOSE: A non- restriction motion estimating apparatus and a method using an electronic conductivity fiber are provided to estimate the motion of a user into a safe method by excluding a separate current for a motion estimation to a user body. CONSTITUTION: A signal measuring part(10) is worn on a user body to distributing. The signal measuring part measures a plurality of motion signals using a plurality of electronic conductivity fibers(11). The electronic conductivity fibers have a resistance changed according to a girth change by body parts of the user. A motion analysis part(20) analyzes a motion pattern of the user and a degree of the motion by analyzing the motion signals. A motion displaying part(30) displays a motion analysis result of the motion analysis part. The electronic conductivity fibers are arranged on the body parts of one among a cervical spine joint, a right and a left shoulder joint, a right and a left elbow joint, a right and a left wrist, a right and a left hip joint, a right and a left knee joint, a right and a left ankle, a breast, a dorsum and an abdomen of the user.
