Abstract: An illegal transmitter detector and a method thereof are provided to prevent information leakage by always detecting whether an illegal transmitter, such as a wiretapping device, and a concealed video camera, is installed at a desired place. An illegal transmitter detector comprises an antenna(100), an RF receiving part(200), an ADC part(300), an unauthorized signal processing part(400), and a warning display part(500). The antenna receives a radio signal transmitted from an illegal transmitter. The RF receiving part detects a signal of a specific frequency band, which is set to detect the illegal transmitter, among the radio signal received at the antenna. The ADC part converts the detected signal into a digital signal. The unauthorized signal processing part controls the RF receiving part and the ADC part. The unauthorized signal processing part compares the converted digital signal with signal information in a frequency information table and judges whether the digital signal is an unauthorized signal. In case it is judged that the digital signal is an unauthorized signal, the unauthorized signal processing part outputs a warning signal. The warning display part, if the warning signal is inputted from the unauthorized signal processing part, executes warning display for the appearance of the unauthorized signal.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for generating an indoor environment map are provided to convert geometry data acquired from indoor environment into line-based geometry data of a little quantity and generate the environment map by using the line-based geometry data. A geometry data acquiring unit(210) acquires geometry data indicating structure information of indoor environment. An image acquiring unit(220) acquires image data indicating image information of the indoor environment. Abstract: A method and an apparatus for detecting a 3D position by using an ultra wide band signal are provided to accurately detect the 3D position of an object by measuring arrival times of reflective pulses from four reception antennas. An antenna portion(40) includes a transmitting antenna, which emits a wireless signal toward an object(5) to be detected, and plural reception antennas, which receive reflected signals from the object. A DSP(Digital Signal Processor,10) generates a trigger signal for locating the object, converts a received signal into a digital value, and outputs the digital signal. A transmitter(20) generates a predetermined transmission pulse according to the trigger signal and outputs the transmission pulse. A receiver(30) amplifies the reflected pulse signal from the reception antennas and outputs the amplified result to the DSP. An information providing unit communicates with the DSP and displays position information of the object on a screen based on location data received from the DSP. A predetermined program for locating the object is loaded on the information providing unit.
