    Abstract: PURPOSE: A quantitative converting system of a qualificative design factors for supporting development of concurrent engineering product and induction method is provided to determine specific design factors of product by converting qualificative design factors clients and sellers to quantitative design factors. CONSTITUTION: A quantitative converting system(100) includes a qualificative design information processing subsystem(110), a correlation information processing subsystem(120), an induction engine subsystem(130), a quantitative design information processing subsystem(140), and a product information generation subsystem(150). The qualificative design information processing subsystem(110) receives and processes information of qualificative design factors, and the correlation information processing subsystem(120) processes the information about correlation evaluation between qualificative design factors and developing products. The induction engine subsystem(130) produces component object composition information.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for calculating iso-surface for visualization of physical quantity in an inside of three-dimensional body, which presents the change of physical quantity in the inside of three-dimensional body by visualizing the change using the iso-surface. CONSTITUTION: A finite element analysis using three-dimensional element is performed and the analyzed result is visualized, in which each iso-interface is arranged by determining a number of iso-surface arbitrarily determined for displaying physical quantity distribution in an inside of the three-dimensional element and a physical quantity value at all points on each iso-surface. The three-dimensional element passing through the arranged iso-surface is divided into a basic tetrahedron. The divided basic tetrahedron is cut by an iso-surface. If coordinates of the cut section on an edge of the cut basic tetrahedron are determined, the cut points are connected to form a surface in the shape of polygon.
