Abstract: A semiautomatic horizontal tilting apparatus of a headrest is provided to horizontally tilt a headrest back and forth by controlling an angle of a backseat. A semiautomatic horizontal tilting apparatus of a headrest comprises: a backseat angle control unit installed in a lower portion of a backseat to control an angle of the backseat; and a headrest horizontal tilting unit(4) installed inside the headrest to tilt the headrest in a horizontal direction. The backseat angle control unit consists of a backseat angle control shaft(21) rotating according to an angle change of the backseat and a lower pulley(22) attached to the backseat angle control shaft. In addition, the headrest horizontal tilting unit consists of an upper pulley mounted to a bracket integrally fixed to a headrest height control member and a headrest operation unit horizontally tilting according to rotation of the upper pulley. The lower and upper pulleys are connected with a cable. When the angle of the backseat is changed, rotation force of the lower pulley is transmitted to the headrest operation unit via the upper pulley, thereby tilting the headrest horizontally.
