    Abstract: PURPOSE: A coupled torsion beam axle for a vehicle is provided to adjust the mounting position of a torsion beam by asymmetrically forming the cross sections of the front and rear ends of a torsion beam. CONSTITUTION: A coupled torsion beam axle for a vehicle interconnects left and right trailing arms to both ends of a torsion beam. A mounting bush is formed at the front ends of the left and right trailing arms. A spring sheet and a shock absorber pin are formed inside the rears of the left and right trailing arms and a spindle bracket is formed outside the rears of the left and right trailing arms. The torsion beam includes an outer wall(1a) and an inner wall(1b). The inner and outer walls are mutually contacted. A front round part(R1) and a rear round part(R2) which have the cross sections of the different radius of curvature are respectively formed at the front and rear ends of the inner and outer walls.

    Abstract: A sliding bellows installation structure of a steering system for a vehicle is provided to improve layout by reducing size of a bellows and to improve durability by minimizing maximum stress of the bellow. A sliding bellows installation structure of a steering system for a vehicle comprises a rack housing(10), a rack bar, a pair of tie rods, and a bellows(20). The bellows has a rack housing assembling unit(23c), a rack bar cover unit(23), a tie rod cover unit(22), and a tie rod assembling unit(21). One end of the rack housing assembling unit adheres to a front end of the rack housing. The rack bar cover unit is extended from the rack housing assembling unit, and covers the rack bar and an inner ball joint. The rack bar cover unit is shaped as a pipe having regular diameter. The tie rod cover unit having a corrugated pipe is extended from the rack bar cover unit, and covers the tie rods. The tie rod assembling unit is formed at the other end of the tie rod cover unit and adhered to one part of the tie rod.
