Abstract: PURPOSE: A noise reducing structure for a timing chain is provided to expand a supporting portion between a guide and a chain and to reduce noise by constraining flow between a guide and a bolt. CONSTITUTION: A noise reducing structure for a timing chain has a crown shape portion(C). The timing chain transfers power of an engine by a sprocket connecting to a crank shaft. A fixing hole is formed to fix a guide(10) to a cylinder block portion by a bolt(10'). The guide minimizes noise and vibration. A supporting portion(L) is formed to support a specific section along the chain. A washer(10") is intervened to prevent flowing by difference of diameters(D,d) with the bolt. The crown shape portion is protruded to both sides of the supporting portion. Thereby, an extended supporting portion(L') is formed. Therefore, noise of transferring power of the chain is prevented by extending the supporting portion.

CONSTITUTION: A tension control device for a belt of a vehicle includes a tension pulley(21) for rotatably contacting a side of a belt(9) which connects crank shaft pulleys with various pulleys which receive the rotation force from the crank shaft pulleys, a mounting bracket(25) at which a side is rotatably mounted with a tension pulley via a rotation shaft and the other side is hinge-coupled with a cylinder block rotatably in one direction, a stopper(29) formed in the cylinder block at a side of the mounting bracket for restraining the rotation of the mounting bracket to one direction, and a damping force providing element provided to the cylinder block at a side of the mounting bracket for elastically operating with respect to the mounting bracket to supply damping force to the belt by the tension pulley.
