    Abstract: PURPOSE: A side airbag driving apparatus of a vehicle is provided to enhance a safety of a driver and a passenger by sensing a side collision situation of a vehicle and expanding a side airbag based on the sensing result thereof. CONSTITUTION: A side airbag driving apparatus of a vehicle comprises a side collision auxiliary sensor(40), a side collision sensor portion(50), an airbag controller(60) and a side airbag actuator(70). The side collision auxiliary sensor(40) is sensed an impact applied to a side window of a vehicle and determines whether the side airbag is expanded or not based on the sensing results. If the side airbag needs to be expanded, the side collision auxiliary sensor(40) is inputted a side airbag expansion on signal to the side collision sensor(50). If the side airbag needs not to be expanded, the side collision auxiliary sensor(40) is inputted a side airbag expansion off signal to the side collision sensor(50). The side collision sensor(50) is mounted at a center pillar, and senses a collision situation of the vehicle, and discriminates whether the side airbag needs to be expanded or not. If the side airbag needs to be expanded, the airbag controller(60) actuates the air bag actuator(70) and the side airbag is expanded.

Therefore, position of the workpiece is adjusted optionally by manufacturing direction, and one jig is applied to several workpieces regardless of shapes of workpieces.
