    Abstract: A fuel filter for a vehicle is provided to ready for an emergency caused by the contamination of an element by changing the position of a pipe for sucking fuel through a simple operation. An element(20) for filtering impurities from fuel is accommodated in a filter housing(10). An inlet port(12) for introduction of fuel from a fuel tank is formed on the element, and an outlet port(14) is formed to supply fuel filtered from the element to an engine. A fuel filter(1) is arranged beneath the filter housing. A fuel supply unit(30) is mounted on the outlet port for sucking fuel so as to move an outer pipe(32) and suck fuel in accordance with the degree of contamination of the element.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel inflow structure of a reservoir cup is provided to reduce the time and range for exposing a strainer of a fuel pump out of an oil surface if a vehicle is traveled or parked on a slope with a little fuel and accordingly to prevent an engine from stopping by cut-off of the fuel during traveling. CONSTITUTION: In a structure of a fuel tank(20) having a fuel pump received in the tank with predetermined volume and a reservoir cup(30) for covering the fuel pump to prevent the supply of fuel to the fuel pump from cutting off, a fuel inflow structure of the reservoir cup is composed of gates(31,32) installed at both lower sides of the reservoir cup to flow the fuel stored in the fuel tank into the reservoir cup; valves(33,34) of which one side is contacted to valve seats(31a,32a) on the inside of the reservoir cup mounted with the gates to intermit the passing of fuel through the gates; guides(35,36) for allowing that the valves move rectilinearly in a predetermined section and projecting inward the gates with covering the outer peripheral surface of the valves; and an elastic supporting unit(40) for elastically holding between the valves and insides of the valves. The elastic supporting unit closes both gates if the reservoir cup is level with the oil surface and opens the lifted gate by load of the lifted valve if the reservoir cup and the oil surface incline.
