Abstract: The present invention relates to a control system and a control method for vehicle cooling fan, comprising: a voltage sensor configured to output a signal corresponding to the state of a vehicle; an engine control unit configured to control the engine of the vehicle; a cooling motor fan control unit configured to perform communication with the voltage sensor and the engine control unit respectively and to generate a cooling fan control signal according to whether communicating with the engine control unit and receiving the signal; and a cooling fan motor configured to control the cooling fan according to the generated cooling fan control signal.

Abstract: Disclosed are a controller for a cooling fan in an engine room of a vehicle and a method for controlling the same. The controller for a cooling fan in an engine room of a vehicle comprises a communications unit receiving information on an automatic temperature controlling device and information on a cluster through vehicle communications; an input unit receiving an IG1 signal; and a controlling unit which controls the operation of the cooling fan in the engine room through the information on an automatic temperature controlling device and the information on a cluster and forcibly operates the cooling fan in the engine room for predetermined hours while the IG1 signal is on or after the IG1 signal is off when the vehicle communications malfunctions.
