    Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for lubricating fuel pump of a GDI engine is provided to reduce frictional heat, abrasion and noise due to rolling contact by directly lubricating between a fuel pump cam and a roller and the contact surface of a tappet and a high-pressure fuel pump adapter. CONSTITUTION: A device for lubricating fuel pump of a GDI engine comprises a cylinder head(200), an oil supply line(300), a cam cap(340) and an oil hole(345). The cylinder head forms an oil gallery. The cylinder head holds a cam shaft. The oil supply line is communicated from the oil gallery. The oil supply line supplies oil to a fuel pump(500). The cam cap covers the cam shaft. The oil hole is formed on the cam cap. The oil hole sprays oil to the contact part of a pump cam and a cam.

CONSTITUTION: A fuel pump mounting structure of an engine comprises a cylinder head(200), a head cover(100) which is coupled to the upper side of the cylinder head, a fuel pump adapter(300) which is interposed between the head cover and the cylinder head, a fuel pump which is coupled to the cylinder head via the pump adapter, an outer bracket(400) which is formed to cover the top of the head cover, and an adapter bracket(310) which is formed on the exterior of the fuel pump adapter to contact the bottom of the head cover.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: An oil supply system of an engine is provided to reduce the cost for components by employing a single oil filter in the exhaust and intake sides. CONSTITUTION: An oil supply system of an engine comprises an exhaust side variable valve unit(140), an intake side variable valve unit(150), an exhaust side oil control valve(100), an intake side oil control valve(110) and a single oil filter(120). The exhaust side variable valve unit controls the movement of an exhaust valve. The intake side variable valve unit controls the movement of an intake valve. The exhaust side oil control valve selectively supplies oil to the exhaust side variable valve unit. The intake side oil control valve selectively supplies oil to the intake variable valve unit. The single oil filter filters the oil supplied to the exhaust and the intake side oil control valve.
