Abstract: Disclosed are a method for detecting malfunction of an ETS and a vehicle with a malfunction detecting system, wherein the method for detecting malfunction of an ETS includes: a first storing step for storing an APS sensing value transferred from an APS to an ETS control unit according to operation of an acceleration pedal; a second storing step for storing an ETS control value transferred to a throttle motor to correspond to the APS sensing value in the ETS control unit; a third storing step for storing a TPS sensing value transferred from a TPS to the ETS control unit to correspond to the operation of the throttle body when the throttle body is operated by the throttle motor to correspond to the ETS control value; and a determination step for determining whether the ETS malfunctions or which part of the ETS malfunctions depending on weather an increased control value, a reduced control value, and the sensing value in a changed pattern are equal by comparing among the changed pattern of the APS sensing value, the changed pattern of the ETS control value, and the changed pattern of the TPS sensing value caused by operation of the accelerated pedal.
