Abstract: PURPOSE: An MMI(Man Machine Interface) system and a method for constituting the same are provided to classify components of the system according to functions, develop the components according to modules, operate the components by inputting external information, and prepare external information as a script file in the case that a system user requests to change and modify a system. CONSTITUTION: Each component for displaying an MMI screen(A) is classified according to functions. The functions of the components are constituted as an operation function(10), that is, a module. A plurality of script files(20a-20n) corresponding to each screen are constituted for executing the operation function(10). The script files(20a-20n) are defined as text file formats(30). Thus, a change and a modification are executed easily. The operation function(10) comprises modules separated according to each function such as head configuration, input window configuration, and button configuration. The operation function(10) also comprises a script file interpreter for reading contents of the script files(20a-20n) for the given screen configuration.
