    Abstract: A trailing arm mounting portion structure for a vehicle is provided to absorb a lateral component force of the vehicle caused by transferring impact energy from a rear floor side member to a side sill. A trailing arm mounting portion structure for a vehicle comprises a mounting bracket(3) installed on a bottom side of a rear floor side member(1) to provide a mounting surface for two trailing arms, which are open in a vehicle width direction, and a reinforcing bracket(9). The reinforcing bracket is installed to directly transfer lateral load of the vehicle into a space prepared between the outside of mounting bracket plate(5), which provides a mounting surface for a trail ring arm positioned on the outside of a vehicle body, and a quarter inner panel(7). The mounting bracket includes two bracket plate, which extends form both side of the rear floor side member downward.
