    Abstract: PURPOSE: An office invention compensation system and method is provided to calculate the amount of compensation for the employee who got the official invention. CONSTITUTION: The system consists of a proposer terminal(10), with which the user proposes and inquires the proposal, an evaluator terminal(20), with which the evaluator input the evaluation, a compensation manager terminal(30), which provides I/O interface for compensation process, a processing unit(50), which controls payment, and DBs(60). The DBs consists of invention DB(61), a compensation base DB(62), and a compensation amount DB(63). When the proposer proposes proposal using the proposer terminal, the evaluator receives the proposal with the evaluator terminal and examines it. If it is taken, the proposal is stored in DB and requested to be applied for a patent. The agent inquiries the proposals and inputs data via the Internet. When the compensation manager inputs conditions to compensate proposals, the processing unit chooses the selected proposal, the patent-pending proposal or patented proposal for compensation. The compensation money is determined according to the compensation standard DB.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A system and a method for the retroactive compensation for an official invention of an intellectual property system are provided to integrally manage the particulars in the change of the compensation money if the official invention of an employer is adopted afterward or the provision of the compensation is changed. CONSTITUTION: An official invention proposer terminal(10) refers to a settlement process of a proposal on the official invention and provides an input/output interface for the application of the retroactive compensation. A patent manager terminal(20) determines the approval for the retroactive compensation application and inputs the approval. An official compensation processing unit(50) applies the compensation money depending on a predetermined retroactive compensation money payment reference and corrects the history of the corresponding proposal. A database(40) stores the data needed for operating the official compensation processing unit and outputs the data if necessary. A deciding officer terminal(30) provides an interface for a deciding officer considering the appropriateness of the retroactive compensation application.
