    Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic control device for a vehicle headlight is provided to automatically control the turning on/off and radiation angle of a high beam according to whether a headlight is short or not, thereby assuring a sufficient viewing angle even though the headlight is out of order. CONSTITUTION: An automatic headlight control device for a vehicle includes a current sensor(12) for sensing a short cut of headlights(10), a control part(20) for controlling operation of a driving part(40) according to a signal output from the current sensor, and the driving part connected to the control part for automatically controlling a radiation angle of high beams(30) according to a control signal output from the control part, wherein when the short circuit of the headlights is sensed while backlights and the headlights are turned on, the control part lights the high beams and applies an electric signal to the driving part for lowering the radiation angle of the high beams.
