PURPOSE: An automatic control device for a vehicle headlight is provided to automatically control the turning on/off and radiation angle of a high beam according to whether a headlight is short or not, thereby assuring a sufficient viewing angle even though the headlight is out of order. CONSTITUTION: An automatic headlight control device for a vehicle includes a current sensor(12) for sensing a short cut of headlights(10), a control part(20) for controlling operation of a driving part(40) according to a signal output from the current sensor, and the driving part connected to the control part for automatically controlling a radiation angle of high beams(30) according to a control signal output from the control part, wherein when the short circuit of the headlights is sensed while backlights and the headlights are turned on, the control part lights the high beams and applies an electric signal to the driving part for lowering the radiation angle of the high beams.

PURPOSE: A front object sensing apparatus for a vehicle is provided to recognize exactly and easily an object existing at a front side of the vehicle on a bad weather or a nighttime by providing an infrared laser lamp at a fog light. CONSTITUTION: A front object sensing apparatus for a vehicle comprises an infrared ray sensing camera for sensing an infrared ray reflected from an object existing at a front side of the vehicle, an electronic control unit(2) for converting an image signal transmitted from the camera into a digital signal, and a liquid crystal display for receiving a digital image information from the electronic control unit and displaying a shape of the front object. An infrared laser lamps for radiating an infrared rays to the object existing at the front side is installed at a fog light(12). The infrared laser lamps radiate the infrared ray to the object, and the infrared ray sensing camera senses the infrared ray reflected from the object.

PURPOSE: A vehicle headlight having an automatic level adjuster is provided to adjust irradiation direction automatically in keeping the irradiation angle of a high beam of the headlight according to position of the vehicle with using ultrasonic waves. CONSTITUTION: A headlight for a vehicle is composed of a sensing unit(1) detecting surrounding vehicles by using ultrasonic waves in the front of the vehicle; a driving unit(2) amplifying and processing the signal from the sensing unit, and outputting a signal to adjust the headlight; and an operating unit(3) adjusting the headlight according to the driving unit. A center sensing unit(1b) of the sensing unit transmits a signal to a center driving unit(2b) of the driving unit in moving other vehicles near the traveling vehicle, and drives a low operating unit(3b) of the operating unit. The low beam is operated without obstructing the field of vision. The visual field is widened with operating the high beam of the headlight in absence of other vehicles. Traveling is performed safely with adjusting the irradiation angle and direction automatically.

본 발명은 종래의 도난 방지장치에 의해서는 감지할 수 없는 상황을 모두 감지할 수 있도록 한 것으로, 그 구성은 차체의 선택된 곳에 설치되어 외부에서 차체에 가해지는 충격량과 차량의 높이를 각각 감지하는 가속도 센서(11) 및 차고 센서(12)를 포함하는 감지부(10); 상기 가속도 센서(11) 및 차고 센서(12)로부터 전송된 신호로부터 충격량과 차량의 높이를 계산하고, 계산된 충격량을 기준값인 2G와 비교하여 이보다 작은 경우에는 도난 상황이 발생한 것으로 보고 먼저 상기 시동차단기(31)를 작동시키는데 필요한 제어신호를 출력한 후 상기 계산된 차량의 높이를 미리 설정된 초기 차량의 높이와 비교하여 그 값이 달라진 때에는 상기 경보기(32)를 작동시키는데 필요한 제어신호를 출력하며, 상기 계산된 충격량이 기준값인 2G보다 큰 경우에는 충돌 상황이 발생한 것으로 보고 상기 시동차단기(31)와 경보기(32)를 작동시키는데 필요한 제어신호를 동시에 출력하는 제어부(20); 및, 상기 제어부(20)로부터 전송된 제어신호에 따라 조작되는 시동차단기(31) 및 경보기(31)를 포함하는 액츄에이터부(30)로 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 자동차의 도난 및 충돌 감지시스템.

PURPOSE: A theft and collision sensing system of a vehicle is provided to detect both invasion and shock applied by collision from the outside according to signals sensed by a vehicle height sensor and an acceleration sensor. CONSTITUTION: A theft and collision sensing system of a vehicle is composed of a sensing unit(10) having an acceleration sensor(11) and a vehicle height sensor(12) mounted at selected spots of a vehicle body, respectively, to detect shock applied on the vehicle body from the outside and height of the vehicle body; a control unit(20) for calculating the shock and height of the vehicle from signals transmitted from the acceleration sensor and the vehicle height sensor and outputting a control signal by comparing the computed shock and vehicle height with a pre-set reference value; and an actuator unit(30) having a starting breaker(31) and an alarm(32), which are operated by the control signal transmitted from the control unit.

PURPOSE: A head lamp controller interlocking to the state of a road is provided to improve the safety and convenience in a travel by changing the irradiation angle of a head lamp corresponding to the state of a road. CONSTITUTION: A head lamp controller consists of an adjusting element(13) for upward and downward rotating a lamp case(9) of a head lamp(1R), a rotating plate(15) for integrally supporting the adjusting element and the head lamp, and a step motor(19) engaged with a gear(17) installed on the rotating plate to rotate the rotating plate in a desired angle. The adjusting element and the rotating plate are controlled by a controller(7) generating a control signal by using the information provided from a steering angle sensor(3) and a radar(5). When a vehicle travels on a rough road, the head lamp of a front passenger's seat is rotated leftward and rightward depending on the steering angle. Therefore, a visual field is secured.

PURPOSE: A vehicle anti-theft device and a control method thereof are provided to start an engine of a vehicle by making a driver get on the vehicle after identifying the driver's face by a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) camera and then identifying the driver through a fingerprint recognition sensor. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle anti-theft device is composed of a signal detecting device(100), an image recognition device(200), a fingerprint recognition device(300), a control device(400), a vehicle operation control device(500), and a driving device(600). The signal detecting device checks the access of a user and recognizes and detects fingerprints and a face image of a driver for door lock-releasing and engine starting confirmation. The image recognition device compares the face image of the user detected and supplied from the signal detecting device with the face image data saved in a memory and then outputs door locking and releasing demand signals. The fingerprint recognition device outputs an engine starting approval signal by comparing the fingerprints of the user detected and supplied from the signal detecting device with the fingerprint data saved in the memory and outputs a predetermined display signal for displaying the input fingerprints. The control device receives a photo sensor signal detected and supplied from the signal detecting device, a supersonic signal, an outside door handle operation signal, the door locking and releasing demand signal, and a steering locking and releasing signal, outputs the door releasing signal by checking the access and face of the user, and outputs an engine control demand signal to the steering lock releasing and the starting of the engine by fingerprint recognition after the user gets on the vehicle. The vehicle operation control device outputs a predetermined control signal for operation states of the engine, the burglar alarm or the alarm release. The driving device outputs sounds for a user access guide and disapproval with synchronizing through the control signal output from the control device, releases door and steering locking states, and displays the recognized fingerprints.

PURPOSE: An intelligent type driver recognition system and a controlling method thereof are provided to prevent the car robbery by executing an opening/closing function according to a personal IC card and not permitting an ignition to a driver without a use authority through a fingerprint recognition sensor and to automatically control various kinds of convenience equipments according to the information sensed by the fingerprint recognition sensor. CONSTITUTION: An IC card input tool reads the information inputted to the IC card(12) and inputs the information to a control unit(2). A driver fingerprint recognition tool(22) recognizes a fingerprint of the driver by installing within the car. The control unit(2) executing the control by comparing the information inputted from the IC card input tool and the driver fingerprint recognition tool(22) with the previously stored information. A robbery prevention controlling tool executes the control for locking a door and a steering wheel and for igniting an engine.
