Abstract: PURPOSE: A car rear glass antenna is provided to improve receiving performance by changing the position of a vertical power line and the number thereof without adding a horizontal line. CONSTITUTION: A car rear glass antenna is comprised of steps: increasing the channel capacity of a diversity antenna(310); calculating the correlation coefficient between antennas using the 3D radiation pattern of an individual antenna; and performing EM analysis by applying the calculated correlation coefficient to a car model.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for designing the rear glass antenna of a vehicle is provided to maximize the radiation gain of vertically polarized wave by forming three to five vertical paths according to a pre-set designing condition. CONSTITUTION: A method for designing the rear glass antenna of a vehicle includes the following: A performance criteria with respect to the rear glass antenna of a vehicle is determined. Designing variables with respect to a plurality of vertical paths are determined. A reference horizontal hotwire is set among horizontal hotwires(121 to 125). The values of the designing variables are determined based on the reference horizontal hotwire.
