Abstract: The present invention is to provide a two-step guide hood latch apparatus for vehicles. The two-step guide hood latch is manufactured without a safety lever so that drivers open a hood without getting out of the vehicle by controlling a release handle two times, and the drivers do not need to put their hands into the hood to operate the safety lever. According to the present invention, the two-step guide hood latch apparatus for the vehicles comprises a pawl pivotally mounted on a base plate; a claw pivotally installed in the base plate to be engaged in the pawl; and a guide lever which maintains the claw in first and second locking states while the middle and the other end parts are connected to the claw and one end is hinged to the pawl with a hinge structure. The invention is for the drivers to open the hood just by controlling a release lever inside.
