Abstract: The present invention relates to a separator for a fuel cell that has contact resistance between an upper metal plate and a lower metal plate minimized by integrating the two metal plates; and to a manufacturing method thereof. Accordingly, the present invention provides a method for manufacturing a separator for a fuel cell, comprising the steps of: arranging an upper metal plate and a lower metal plate; forming a first and a second composite material layer on both surfaces of the upper metal plate and forming a third and a fourth composite material layer on both surfaces of the lower metal plate by applying coating liquid containing a polymeric composite material to both surfaces of the upper and lower metal plates; and forming a monolayer middle composite material layer by stacking the upper metal plate on top of the lower metal plate and thus integrally coupling the second composite material layer and the third composite material layer before drying the composite material layers.
