Abstract: An open and shut device for an air hole of a wheel cover is provided to reduce aerodynamic resistance by closing vent holes of the wheel cover with an opening and closing plate during traveling. An open and shut device(2) for an air hole of a wheel cover includes a wheel cover(10) installed to an axle(4) to idle by a bearing and formed with vent holes(8), an opening and closing plate(16) installed to an outer circumference of a wheel cover shaft pipe(12) to open and close the vent holes of the wheel cover, a cylinder installed to the lower side of the outer circumference of the wheel cover shaft pipe by a hinge and moving a piston connected to the opening and closing plate forward and backward, and a return spring to connect the cylinder to the opening and closing plate. The cylinder applies a load to the wheel cover. A weight is attached to the wheel cover to prevent the wheel cover from rotating. The vent holes are closed by the opening and closing plate during traveling. Thus, the aerodynamic resistance applied to the vent holes is reduced to increase driving performance.

Abstract: A spare tire carrier structure is provided to prevent theft of a spare tire by allowing only a key carrier to detach the spare tire. A spare tire carrier structure includes a spare tire mount(1), a locker(3), a wire(2), and a control unit. If the mount is completely inserted into the locker, the control unit applies a control current to a fixing unit to fix the mount to the locker. If a key of the vehicle is manipulated, the control unit detects that the key of the vehicle is manipulated and separates the mount from the locker by applying a control current to the fixing unit. If the mount is completely inserted into the locker, the control unit turns on an alarm lamp.
