Abstract: PURPOSE: A key interlock system of an automatic transmission vehicle is provided to prevent malfunction and to reduce manufacture cost. CONSTITUTION: A key interlock system of an automatic transmission vehicle comprises a locking plate(10), a key interlock cam(20), a cable block and a cylinder block. The key interlock cam is mounted inside a shift lever housing(1) and connected to one side of the key interlock cam. The locking plate is installed to slide in the shift lever housing and has a slot hole and a lever hole. The slot hole is connected to the key interlock cam. The shift lever is inserted into the lever hole. The cable block is connected to one side of the key interlock cable, moves along the longitudinal direction of an ignition lock body and has a locking projection. The cylinder block is installed in the ignition lock cylinder and restricts the rotation of the ignition lock cylinder or the movement of the cable block by the connection with the locking projection.
