    Abstract: PURPOSE: A bumper gap remaining apparatus for a lower arm of a vehicle is provided to prevent lowering of driving experience and height and interference with a wheel housing and a tire by increasing the bumper gap with returning a lower arm through a torsion bar. CONSTITUTION: A magnet(10) and a weight sensor(11) are installed in the lower part of a bumper stopper(8), and a magnet(12) is attached to the lower part of a stopper bracket(9). The weight sensor is connected to a control unit(13). A torsion bar(1) is fixed in a lower arm(6), and combined with a rotator(14) rotated by a motor(15). Power from a battery(16) is supplied to the motor through a relay switch(17), and the relay switch is operated by the control unit. The bumper gap is detected by the weight sensor, and the motor is operated by actuating the relay switch in reducing the bumper gap. The bumper gap is increased by returning the lower arm through the torsion bar with the motor.
