Compositions are provided including an uncrosslinked thermoplastic nitrogen-containing matrix material and composite particles distributed in the matrix material. The composite particles each include a chemical blowing agent particle encapsulated within a shell including an uncrosslinked thermoplastic material. The uncrosslinked thermoplastic material exhibits at least a certain minimum complex viscosity at a decomposition temperature of the chemical blowing agent particle. Also described are foam compositions and articles including the foam compositions, such as a sheet or multilayer construction. Composite particles are further provided. Methods of making the foam compositions are additionally described herein. Also, polishing pads, polishing systems, and methods of polishing a substrate are provided.

An adhesive composition are articles are described. The adhesive composition comprises a polyisobutylene polymer component; up to 20 wt.-% of a polyolefin copolymer comprising polymerized units of an acidic monomer; and optionally, at least one tackifier. The polyolefin copolymer typically comprises C 2 -C 4 alkylene units. The polyolefin copolymer comprises polymerized units of a carboxylic acid, or unsaturated derivative thereof. In some embodiments, the polyolefin copolymer has a melting temperature ranging from 50 to 150°C. In some embodiments, the polyolefin copolymer has an acid number of less than 40, 35, 30, or 25 mgKOH/g.

The present disclosure relates to compressible, multilayer articles useful in force sensing capacitors. The compressible multilayer articles include a silicone polymer layer having a first major surface and a second major surface and a first primer layer having a first major surface and a second major surface, wherein the thickness of the first primer layer is from about 100 nanometers to about 100 microns and at least a portion of the first major surface of the first primer layer is adhered to and in contact with the first major surface of the silicone polymer. The multilayer articles may include at least one of a first electrode and second primer layer. Methods of making the compressible, multilayer articles are also disclosed.

Adhesive articles suitable for use in medical applications include a siloxane-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer, and a breathable conformable backing having a first surface and a second surface. The siloxane-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer is coated on the first surface of the breathable conformable backing, and the second surface of the breathable conformable backing comprises a treated surface. The siloxane-based pressure sensitive adhesive layer can be attached to skin and other adhesive articles can be releasably adhered to the treated surface to form adhesive constructions.
