Abstract: Zarízení pro omezování elektrického proudu v elektrickém vedení (L.sub.1.n., L.sub.2.n., L.sub.3.n.) obsahuje PTC rezistor (PTC1, PTC2, PTC3) pro udávání strídave stavu vysokého a nízkého odporu ve vedení (L.sub.1.n., L.sub.2.n., L.sub.3.n.), kontrolní obvod (1) pro detekování zmeny ze stavu nízkého odporu do stavu vysokého odporu, a pro vytvárení signálu v prípade stavu vysokého odporu, spínac (13), usporádaný ve vedení (L.sub.1.n., L.sub.2.n., L.sub.3.n.) a sériove zapojený s PTC rezistorem (PTC1, PTC2, PTC3) pro prerušování elektrického proudu ve vedení (L.sub.1.n., L.sub.2.n., L.sub.3.n.), omezovaného PTC rezistorem (PTC1, PTC2, PTC3) v odezve na signál stavu vysokého odporu. Kontrolní obvod (1) je usporádán pro detekování stavu odporu po urcený casový interval po zmene odporu, a pro vytvárení signálu pouze tehdy, pokud stav vysokého odporu trvá po dobu tohoto casového intervalu. Zarízení je usporádáno pro otevírání spínace (13) v prípade vysokých nadproudu a dále obsahuje stykac (17) pro otevírání spínace (13) v prípade malých nadproudu.
