Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a resistor provided with a resistive laminate, composed of a plurality of resistors laminated on the surface of an insulating board to be improved in long-term stability, by reducing its temperature coefficient of resistance TCR to zero over a wide range of temperature. SOLUTION: When the rote of change of a resistance with temperature [Δt] for eaching resistor layer of the resistive laminate is approximated by the quadratic formula, [αΔt+β(Δt)2], or the formula of higher order, at least the signs of the linear temperature coefficient α and quadratic temperature coefficient β of a certain resistor layer are set opposite to those of the other resistor layer. A resistor layer of superior long-term reliability, how ever, is used as the uppermost layer of the resistive laminate. At least, α and β may be both set positive for one of the resistor layers, and α and β be both set negative for the other of the resistor layers. At least, one of the resistor layers may be formed of Ni-Cr alloy.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a magnetism detecting apparatus by which information on magnetism can be read out with high sensitivity from a magnetic medium whose residual magnetism is faint by a method wherein a magnet is attached to the intrusion side of the magnetic medium at a thin filmy magnetic sensor in such a way that the direction of a magnetic pole is at right angles to the advance direction of the magnetic medium, a return magnetic path is formed between the magnet and the magnetic sensor and a magnetic flux leakage is reduced. SOLUTION: A thin filmy magnetic sensor 1 is attached, by using a soft magnetic material 6, to the surface of the horizontal part 7a of a support base 7 which is formed in an H-shape. In addition, a permanent magnet 13 is attached to the intrusion side of a sheetlike magnetic medium 8 in such a way that the direction of a magnetic pole is at right angles to the advance direction of the magnetic medium 8. The permanent magnet 13 is constituted integrally in such a way that a U-shaped yoke 14 is assembled by the soft magnetic material 6 and that a spacer 15 is installed between the yoke 14 and the vertical part 7b of the support base 7, it is magnetically shielded by excluding a plane on which the magnet 13 faces the magnetic medium 8 so that a magnetic flux which is leaked to the side of the magnetic sensor 1 is reduced. Then, when the magnetic medium 8 is moved in parallel so as to come close to the magnetic sensor 1, an external-signal magnetic field 12 from the magnetic medium 8 is detected by the magnetic sensor 1 in a noncontact manner.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a producing method of a record medium having excellent storage stability of high density information recording, especially information by magnetic recording. SOLUTION: In the producing method of an information record medium in which information is recorded and reproduced by using a magnetic field or light, at least one base layer essentially comprising elements or compds. selected from Cr, Pt, Pd, Au, Fe, Ni, MgO and NiO is formed while the crystalline plane with (100) Miller index of the crystal lattice is controlled to be parallel to the substrate. Further, an L10 regular alloy layer is formed by sputtering under the conditions satisfying P×D>3000, wherein P is the Ar gas pressure (Pa) and D is the distance (mm) between the target and the substrate. This producing method of the record medium consisting of the regular alloy thin film above described is used for a glass substrate for an industrial hard disk. Thereby, the regularity necessary to develop large crystal magnetic anisotropy is promoted at a low temp. at which the glass substrate can be applied so that the recording storage stability of a record medium is improved.

The controller 8 controls the drive unit 6, based on an optional orbit given preliminarily, monitors a posture of the probe 20 with respect to the sample 10, and conducts feedback control not to make an opposed portion between the both run out from the orbit.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a recording medium which has fine magnetic domain structures and realizes high reproduced output and low medium noise by proposing a technique of reducing the magnetic domain size of the information recording layer of a high-density magnetic recording medium, more particularly a two-layered perpendicular magnetic recording medium having an L10 type rule alloy in the information recording layer. SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the two-layered perpendicular magnetic recording medium having a layer consisting of the L10 type ordered alloy selected from a group A as an information recording layer comprises making the layer which has the same composition as the composition of the L10 type ordered alloy and in which the crystalline structure is an irregular structure (S11) before making the L10 type ordered alloy layer (the information recording layer) by sputtering film formation. The group A includes an FePt ordered alloy, CoPt ordered alloy, FePd ordered alloy, and their alloys. The two-layered perpendicular magnetic recording medium having the fine magnetic domain structures can be made by this manufacturing method.

These thin film conductors coils 3 and 6 are disposed on both sides in the film thickness direction of the main pole thin film 5, and are formed so that two thin film conductor coils 3 and 6 disposed between the both sides in the film thickness direction of the main pole thin film 5 are connected or not connected to each other at one place by using the conventional technique. Consequently, the front end of the main pole film is excited, then the magnetic head excellent in recording sensitivity and hardly being affected by the external magnetic field is easily manufactured.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable making temperature coefficient of resistance(TCR) approach zero over a wide temperature range. SOLUTION: A resistance member is formed of a Ni-Cr based alloy, which contains one or at least two elements selected from among a group of Al, Si, Be, Mg, Ti and Mn and one or at least two elements selected from among a group of Mn, Fe, Co, Ti and V. In a resistance material, resistance value change rate of base metal is approximated by a quadratic formula for the temperature change, a primary element contributing to a primary coefficient αand a secondary element contributing to a secondary coefficient β are found. Doping quantity of the primary element and the secondary element are so decided that the coefficients α, β fall within prescribed ranges.
