A multilayer film is characterized by having at least a skin layer comprising a propylene -- ethylene copolymers characterized by the following features: ethylene derived units content of between 1.0 wt% and 15.0% wt%; molecular weight distribution (MWD), expressed in terms of Mw/Mn, greater than 4.0; - the content of xylene soluble fraction (XS) and the ethylene derived units content (C2) fulfill the following relation: XS 0.435C2 where XS is the percentage by weight of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25°C and C2 is the percentage by weight of ethylene units in the said copolymers determined via NMR.

A polymer filament comprising a polyolefin composition which comprises at least 10% by weight of one or more copolymer(s) (I) of propylene with one or more comonomers selected from ethylene, C 4 -C 10 α-olefins and their combinations, said copolymer or copolymers (I) having MFR from 0.5 to 10 g/10 min. and containing units deriving from the said comonomers in a total amount of from 0.5 to 25% by weight with respect to the total amount of all momoner units in the copolymer, provided that, in the absence of comonomer units deriving from C 6 -C 10 α-olefins, the amount of comonomer units deriving from ethylene or C 4 -C 5 α-olefins or their combinations is at least 2.5% by weight.

A nucleated propylene polymer composition comprising: A) from 77 wt% to 91 wt%, of a propylene homopolymer having a fraction insoluble in xylene at 25 °C higher than 95 %; B) from 9 wt % to 23 wt%, of a copolymer of propylene with from 28.0 wt% to 42.0 wt% of ethylene derived units; the composition having an intrinsic viscosity of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25 °C comprised between 1.0 dl/g and 1.9 dl/g, a fraction soluble in xylene at 25 °C comprised between 9.0 wt% and 21.0 wt%, a total melt flow rate (Melt Flow Rate according to ISO 1133, condition L, i.e. 230°C and 2.16 kg load) comprised between 1.5 and 5 g/10 min and the value of the relation (I): 22.5+0.2*MFR-1.2*Xs+0.2*IV is higher than 5.9; wherein MFR is the melt flow rate of the nucleated composition (Melt Flow Rate according to ISO 1133, condition L, i.e. 230°C and 2.16 kg load); IV is the intrinsic viscosity of the fraction soluble in xylene at 25 °C; and Xs is the fraction soluble in xylene at 25°C; wherein the amount of A+B is equal to 100 wt% and wherein the nucleated agent is selected from the group consisting of aromatic or aliphatic carboxylic acids, aromatic metal phosphates, sorbitol derivatives and talc.

A polyolefin composition comprising: A) from 19 wt% to 50 wt% of a propylene ethylene copolymer having an ethylene derived units content ranging from 1.5 wt% to 6.0 wt% B) from 50 wt% to 81 wt% of a propylene ethylene 1-butene terpolymer having an ethylene derived units content ranging from 1.5 wt% and 6.0 wt% and 1-butene derived units content of between 4.8 wt% and 12.4 wt%; the sum of the amount of component A) and B) being 100; the composition being characterized by the following features: molecular weight distribution (MWD), expressed in terms of Mw/Mn, greater than 4.0; the creep and recovery curve measured on the polymer fuse at 200°C measured according to the procedure reported in the characterizing section shows a maximum value between 600 and 1200 seconds lower than 53x10 -5 1/Pa.
