    Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the preparation of reinforced, impact-modified thermoplastic molding compositions which contain, based on 100 parts by weight, A) from 30 to 93 parts by weight of one or more thermoplastics from the group comprising the polyamides, polyesters, polycarbonates and polyphenylene ethers, B) from 5 to 50 parts by weight of fibers, preferably glass fibers, and C) from 2 to 20 parts by weight of one or more impact-modifying rubbers, in which process the fibers (B) are first introduced into the melt of the thermoplastic (A), components (A) and (B) are mixed, the rubber (C) is then introduced into the resultant mixture in the melt, and the resultant molding composition is extruded and granulated, wherein the reaction is carried out in one step, expediently at a constant temperature in the range of, advantageously, from 250 DEG to 300 DEG C.

Prepn. of (I) by one-stage polycondensation in melt of A, B1, B2, C1, C2, and C3 in presence of 5-60% molar excess, on total OH content, anhydride of 2-6C alkanecarboxylic acid, opt. with postcondensation in solidphase. Dimensionally stable mouldings contg. (I) are claimed. C3 is pref. C3a and/or C3b or C3c where X = C(Me)2, S, SO2, O, or CO. C3d is 4- and/or 3-aminophenol. Molar ratio B1:B2 = 1.5:1-10:1. Molar ratio C1:C2 = 0.5:1-2.33:1.

    Abstract: To produce an electrically conductive surface layer on shaped-bodies of plastic., sourceable or soluble in a solution, whose conductivity depends on a deposited system of both organic electron acceptors, and organic electron donors, iodides or a mixture of organic donors a-d iodides, the bodies are treated with organic solutions of these. In one embodiment both acceptors and donors are commonly present in the solution, and in the other a series of solutions is used each inducling only acceptors or donors. In the latter case, the bodies are dried between steps. Specified examples of preferred electron acceptors are tetracyanchinodimethane and/or N,N'-Dicyanochinodimiine organic donors and such as Tetrachologen fulralene iodides are given.
