Abstract: Thermoplastic moulding compositions containing A) from 10 to 97% by weight of a polyoxymethylene homopolymer or copolymer, B) from 3 to 50% by weight of a thermoplastic elastomer from the group consisting of thermoplastic polyurethanes, polyether-esters and polyether-amides derived from polyether polycarbonate diols as their soft phase, and C) from 0 to 50% by weight of a fibrous or particulate filler, or mixtures thereof, and D) from 0 to 30% by weight of conventional additives and processing assistants, characterised in that the polyether polycarbonate diols which form the soft phase of the thermoplastic elastomer B), are essentially built up from: b1) from 3 to 63.7 mol% of units derived from a polyoxytetramethylenediol, b2) from 63.7 to 3 mol% of units derived from a polyoxyalkylenediol containing C2- to C8 -alkylene groups which is different from b1), an aliphatic alkanediol having 2 to 14 carbon atoms, an alicyclic alkanediol having 3 to 14 carbon atoms or an alkylene oxide having 2 or 3 carbon atoms, or mixtures thereof, and b3) from 33.3 to 50 mol% of units derived from phosgene, a dialkyl carbonate containing C1- to C4-alkyl groups or a cyclic carbonate containing C2- to C4-alkylene bridges, or mixtures thereof.
