    Abstract: In the present invention there is described a process for the preparation of amines of the general formula I, in which Re1, Re2, Re3, Re4, Re5 and Re6 denote hydrogen, alkyl containing 1 to 6 carbon atoms, alkenyl having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, Ci2H, propargyl, cycloalkyl containing 5 to 8 carbon atoms, alkylcycloalkyl having 5 to 10 carbon atoms in the alkyl moiety, cycloalkylalkyl having 4 to 20 carbon atoms in the cycloalkyl moiety, Re1 and Re2 together denote a saturated or unsaturated divalent alkylene chain containing 3 to 9 carbon atoms, and Re3 and Re5 together represent a bivalent alkylene chain c containing 3 to 8 carbon atoms, by the reaction of olefins of the general formula II, in which Re3, Re4, Re5, and Re6 are as specified above, with ammonia or primary or secondary amines of the general formula III, in which Re1 and Re2 are as indicated above, at temperatures ranging from 200 to 350 degC and pressures ranging from 10 to 30 MPa in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst, wherein the heterogeneous catalyst used is a zeolite of the type SSZ-37.
