    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the yield from deteriorating or the catalyst activities from rapidly lowering by reacting an olefin with ammonia, etc., in the presence of boron-MCM-22 or ERB-1 zeolite at a high temperature under a high pressure. SOLUTION: Ammonia, an amine, etc., represented by formula I (R and R are each H, a 1-20C alkyl, a 2-20C alkenyl, etc., and R and R together form a bivalent chain of a saturated or an unsaturated 3-9C alkylene) is reacted with an olefin represented by formula II (R to R are each the same as R and R ) at (1:1) to (5:1) ratio in the presence of boron-MCM-22, etc., at 200-350 deg.C, preferably 220-330 deg.C under 100-300 bars, preferably 140-290 bars in a fixed bed reactor in a supercritical state to produce an amine represented by formula III. The amine is then preferably separated from a reactional mixture by distillation, etc., and the unreacted material is preferably circulated for use.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an amine in high yield by reacting an olefin with ammonia, or a primary or secondary amine at given temperature and pressure in the presence of zeolite of NES structure as the heterogeneous reaction catalyst. SOLUTION: The method for producing this amine reacts an olefin shown by formula I (R to R are each H, a 1-20C alkyl, 2-20C alkenyl, 4-20C cycloalkyl-alkyl, or the like), e.g. isobutene, with ammonia, or a primary or secondary amine shown by formula II (R and R are each H, a 1-20C alkyl or the like) at 200 to 350 deg.C and 100 to 300 bar in the presence of zeolite of NES structure as the heterogeneous reaction catalyst, to produce the objective compound shown by formula III (e.g. tert-butylamine). This method gives the objective compound in high yield, high yield per treatment space-time, while controlling deactivation of the catalyst.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an amine in a high selectivity, high time and space yield, and excellent yield, by using a specific heterogenous catalyst in amination of an olefin. SOLUTION: This amine expressed by formula I (R to R are each H, an alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, etc.; R and R are joined into an alkylene; R and R are each an alkyl or alkenyl or joined into an alkenylene) is obtained by reaction between an olefin of formula II and ammonia or a primary or secondary amine of formula III in the presence of a heterogenous catalyst containing MCM-49 or MCM-56 type zeolite at 200-350 deg.C, and at 100-300 bar. Various modifying treatments of the catalyst can enhance reaction selectivity, flow time and possible numbers of regeneration of the catalyst in the above reaction. For example, treatment with hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, etc., doping treatment with transition metal(s), doping treatment with rare earth element(s), etc., is preferable.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce amine in high yield, i.e., in high selectivity and high spatiotemporal yield by reacting ammonia or primary or secondary amine with olefin at high temperature and high pressure by using a specific heterogeneous catalyst. SOLUTION: This objective amine of formula III is obtained by reacting a primary or secondary amine of formula I (R and R are each H, an alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, etc.), or ammonia with an olefin of formula II (R to R are each the same as R or R ) at 200 to 350 deg.C and 100 to 300 bar in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst consisting of NU-85 zeolite. This NU-85 zeolite catalyst may be ion-exchanged or doped with alkali metal, alkali earth metal or rare earth metal. Also, the catalyst may be subjected to acid treatment by using such an acid as hydrochloric acid or sulfuric acid. Preferably, there is recycled the material which has not been converted yet when the amine of formula III is isolated.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply obtain the subject compound by reacting ammonia or a primary or secondary amine with an olefin in the presence of a specific condition catalyst. SOLUTION: This amine of formula I (R -R are each H, a 1-20C alkyl, a 2-20C alkenyl, etc.) is obtained by reacting an olefin of formula II, such as isobutene, diisobutene or cyclopentene, with ammonia, a primary amine or secondary amine of formula III at 200-350 deg.C at a pressure of 100-300 bars in the presence of a heterogeneous catalyst. A catalyst suitable for the amination of the olefin is effectively one or more of the oxides of group IVB or VIB elements in the periodic table, especially advantageously 5-20wt.% of a heterogeneous catalyst containing 5-15wt.% of tungsten and 8-25wt.% of zirconium on a carrier. The reaction exhibits a high selectivity and a high yield. The catalyst is further simply and easily recycled.
