Abstract: The invention relates to a composition containing A) between 40 and 90 parts by weight of aromatic polycarbonate with a weighted average molecular weight Mw >/= 25 000 g/mol, B) between 0.5 and 15 parts by weight of polyalkylene terephthalate, C) between 1 and 20 parts by weight of a graft (co)polymer comprising a core-shell morphology, consisting of between 10 and 90 wt. %, (in relation to the graft (co)polymer), of a graft base with a glass transition temperature of below 0 DEG C and between 90 and 10 wt. % (in relation to the graft (co)polymer) of vinyl monomers as graft monomers, said graft monomers containing a fraction of at least 20 wt. % (in relation to the graft monomers) of acrylate monomers, D) between 2 and 20 parts by weight of an oligomeric organic phosphoric acid esters and E) between 0 and 1 parts by weight of a fluorinated polyolefin, whereby the sum of the parts by weight of all components equals 100.

Abstract: A thermoplastic molding composition comprising A) at least one member selected from the group consisting of polycarbonate and polyestercarbonate and B) a phosphorus compound is disclosed. The composition wherein A) is a mixture of (A.1) 99.9 to 40 wt. % of branched member, and (A.2) 0.1 to 60 wt. % of linear member, is characterized by high melt stability and improved mechanical properties, particularly improved stress crack resistance under the effect of chemicals and a higher notched impact resistance. The composition is especially suitable for producing profiles, films or sheets of any type in an extrusion process.
