    Abstract: Un neumático que comprende una carcasa (2) que se extiende toroidalmente entre un par de núcleos (1) de talón embebidos en respectivas porciones de talón, en el que la carcasa se combina con el núcleo del talón, estando la carcasa provista, en un lado interior de la cavidad, de un centro (0) del espesor de la parte de talón en una dirección axial del neumático, que llega hasta una cara del núcleo del talón que está frente al lado interior de la cavidad del neumático y a continuación entra en el núcleo del talón desde el lado interior de la cavidad del neumático, atraviesa el núcleo del talón, sale del núcleo del talón desde la cara radialmente mas interior del núcleo del talón y termina en contacto con la cara radialmente más interna del núcleo del talón.

    Abstract: In order to minimise the reduction of the restoring torque (self-aligning torque), and to further reduce rolling resistance, in a pneumatic radial tire for passenger cars which is used at an internal pressure 25 to 50% higher than normal, the carcass has a radial profile such that when the tire is mounted on a normal rim and inflated at a working internal pressure, a ratio of radii R/R' is within a range of 0.65-0.85 and f is within a range of 5-10 mm, where R' is a radius of a standard arc passing through points B, E and C; R is a radius of curvature in a curved line of a shoulder profile of the carcass line passing through the point C, and f is a maximum distance between the standard arc and the remaining carcass line smoothly extending from the curved line of the shoulder profile to the point B and having a single inflection point. Further, to improve ride comfort and the restoring torque, the tread has a width corresponding to only 55-62% of the maximum tire width.

    Abstract: A heavy duty pneumatic radial tire includes a carcass consisting of at least one layer of metal cords substantially radially arranged, a breaker consisting of at least two layers of metal cords to form a main reinforcement with the carcass, and bead portions including hard and soft stiffeners. The carcass has a particular radial profile having a ratio of radii R/R' determined by a radius R' of a standard circle and a radius R determined by a particular definition and has a maximum distance f between an arc of the standard circle and the remaining carcass line smoothly extending from the profile curvature of the shoulder. Moreover a radial profile over a radially inner zone of the sidewall of 20-45% of the radial height SH has a curvature 1/ rho less than 6x10-3 mm-1 at a location 32.5% of the radial height corresponding to a center of the profile.
