    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flexible polyurethane foam sustainably improved in non- discoloration as an undecided matter of many years and prevented from odor or eye-rainbow phenomena as well. SOLUTION: This flexible polyurethane foam is obtained by reaction between a polyol and a polyisocyanate in the presence of water a foam stabilizer, catalysts, and other auxiliary(ies); wherein the polyisocyanate to be used is an aliphatic or alicyclic isocyanate, and the catalysts to be used consist of a metal catalyst and an amine catalyst in combination, the former being a tin-based catalyst, while the latter dimethylaminoethyl ether.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject readily degradable and easily disposable foam useful as a foam, or the like, for a paper diaper by specifying the half-life of strength and/or specifying the isocyanate index. SOLUTION: This foam is obtained by regulating the half-life of strength (under conditions of 70 deg.C and 95% RH) within 50 days, preferably within 30 days and/or regulating the isocyanate index to 40-98, preferably 70-90. The foam is obtained by reacting, e.g. (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyol which is a polyol having hydrophilic groups such as a polyether polyol synthesized by preferably a ring opening polymerization of ethylene oxide and having ether bonds or a polyester polyol synthesized by a polycondensation or successive polymerization and having ester bonds and having 1.1-3.0 number of functional groups with (B) 10-80 pts.wt. of an isocyanate having preferably 1-5 content of NCO based on one molecule.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soft polyurethane foam and a packing material for lighting apparatus with an increased tight resistance by combination of a specific light stabilizer and ultraviolet light absorbing agent. SOLUTION: This soft polyurethane foam with an increased light resistance is a polyurethane foam obtd. by mixing a polyol, an org. diisocyanate, a foaming agent, a foam controlling agent, a catalyst, etc., and comprises a hindered amine light stabilizer and a benzotriazole ultraviolet light absorbing agent. It is preferable to blend 0.1-10 pts.wt. of the hindered amine light stabilizer with 100 pts.wt. of the polyol to make the polyurethane foam.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide suit for diving, to which heat storage property is imparted so as to have temperature-controlling function, capable of modifying heat, stuffy state and cold in diving in a state in which the suit is worn. SOLUTION: This suit for diving has a heat storage layer composed of foam or rubber in which heat-storing particles are dispersed. Microcapsules having a latent heat storage agent encapsulated in the shell are suitably used as the heat-storing particles. The latent heat storage agent ordinarily exhibits endothermic action (or heat-releasing action) by utilizing phase change of liquid- solid and has relatively large endothermic capacity. The suit prevents human bodies from directly transmitting raise and lowering of water containing and keeps bodily sensation of human bodies in comfortable range by using the latent heat storage agent of raw material causing phase change at 6-35 deg.C in the suit.
