Abstract: PURPOSE:To surely hold a part, etc., without damaging it, by installing a plurality of tubes onto a core body and expanding each tube by pouring fluid into each tube and catching the part by utilizing the hole on the part, in a catching device for cylindrical parts, etc. CONSTITUTION:Each edge of a tube 2 having the opened ports at the both edges is installed in sealed state onto the upper and lower parts of a hard core body 1. A flow passage 3 for pouring fluid such as air into the tube 2 is formed on the core body 1, and in each flow passage 3, a piping hose 4 is connected, and a valve 5 is installed midway in the hose 4, and a fluid feeding source 6 is connected. The fluid such as air which is supplied from the fluid feeding source 6 is distributed into each piping hose 4 from the position of the valve 5, and flows into the passage 3, and expands the tube 2. The drawing shows the state where a part W is caught. The tube 2 is opened at the both edges, and installed in sealed state onto the outer peripheral surface of the core body 1 by the caulking rings 7 and 8.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to run and move inside a tube without fail by a method wherein one end of a cylindrical tube is fitted on one end side of a core shaft while the other end thereof is folded back outside in the radial direction and fitted on the other end side of the shaft, and a fluid is injected in and discharged from the tube to make the tube expand and contract. CONSTITUTION:A moving body 1 is formed by fitting one end of a tube 3 of an elastic body (rubber) on the fore end 5 side of a core shaft 2 (by using a calking ring 9) and by folding back the other end of the tube 3 outside in the radial direction and fitting the same on the base end 6 side of the shaft 2. When a pressure fluid (gaseous body) is injected into the moving body 1 through a pressure fluid conducting pipe 4, the tube 3 is made to expand asymmetrically on the fore end 5 side and the base end 6 side and comes into contact with the inner surface of a pipe 11. When the pressure fluid is injected further to increase a contact area, the core shaft 2 is moved by a distance DELTAl toward the fore end 5 side while the tube 3 is fixed on and supported by the inner surface of the pipe 11. When the pressure fluid is discharged, the moving body 1 stops as a whole at the position whereat the fluid is discharged. By the repetition of these operations, the moving body 1 runs forward toward the fore end 5 side in the axial direction inside the pipe 11.

The output voltage e2 from the element Ph2 is fed back to a voltage compensating circuit 7 and the supply voltage ec from the circuit 7 to the LED 2 is controlled so as to always keep the voltage e2 constant in the circuit 7 regardless of the contamination of the optical system 6 or temp. change and a supplied to the LED 1. Therefore, the optical system 5 receives the same contamination or temp. change of the optical system 6 but the effect thereof is erased almost perfectly by the control of the voltage ec and the output voltage from the element Ph1 always has sufficient accuracy.

SOLUTION: A fluid injection port 2 is formed in the upper surface of a hard main body part 1, concurrently a fluid injection passage 4 is formed in the main body part 1, an outer cylinder 7 is mounted thereto in such a way that the hard main body part 1 is covered therewith, one end of a tube 5 which is opened at both ends of it, and is composed only of a rubber tube in continuous length that is cut into a specified length, is put over the lower part of the hard main body 2 so as to be mounted onto the outer circumference of the hard main body 1 by a squeezing ring 9, the other end of the tube is folded back to the outer side so as to be mounted onto the lower end outer circumference of the outer cylinder 7 using a squeezing ring 6, and it is so constituted that fluid such as air and the like is injected from the fluid injection port 2 through the fluid injection passage 4 into a space between the tube 5 and the outer cylinder 7 in such a way that the tube 5 can be swelled up inward, a part and the like to be clamped have been inserted in the inside of the tube 5 before fluid is injected, and the part and the like are so designed as to be clamped only by the swelled-up surface of the tube 5.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make compact the whole structure of a gripping device and eliminate risk of breaking an elastic inflating body by fitting in the base, frames for fixing the two ends of the inflating body to the bore of the base, and deforming the base in diameter contraction to the frames or deforming the frames in expansion to the base. CONSTITUTION:A gripping device for parts, etc., has a hollow base 1 in cylindrical form and an elastic inflating body 2 which is installed at the bore of the base 1 and whose two ends are fixed to the base 1, and the inflating body 2 is constructed expansive by injecting a fluid from a supply/exhaust port 4 into an enclosed space 3 bounded by the bore of the base 1 and the inflating body 2. Frames 5, 6 for fixation of the two ends of the body 2 to the bore of the base 1 are fitted in the base 1, and the base 1 is deformed in diameter contraction to the frames 5, 6 so that caulked parts 7, 8 are formed at the two ends of the base 1. Therefore, the outside diameter of the whole device is lessened in an amount corresponding to the part free from mounting with the ends of the body 2 folded back outward. Even though the angle of a work 200 is going to run against the body 2, it contacts the frame 6 which prevents breakage of the inflating body.
