    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain foamed rubber composition especially suitable for tread part of pneumatic tire reducing fluctuation of foaming fraction without decreasing productivity by mixing diene-based rubber with specific foaming agent and curing accelerator. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. diene-based rubber, preferably having a glass transition temperature below -60 deg.C is mixed with (B) 1-20 pts.wt., 3-10 pts.wt. p,p'-oxybis(benzenesulfonyl hydrazide) expressed by formula I as a foaming agent and (C) 0.2-5 pts.wt. N,N-diethylthiocarbamoyl-2-benzothiazolyl sulfide expressed by formula II to afford the aimed foamed rubber composition. Furthermore, said composition having preferably 1-1002%, more preferably 5-50% foaming fraction is used in the aimed pneumatic tire so as to be >=10%, preferably 40-60% of total volume of tread part.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the title compsn. from static ozone deterioration over a wide temp. range when a linear satd. hydrocarbon of a specified carbon number is compounded in a rubber product and to improve the appearance of the product by setting the proportion of the linear satd. hydrocarbon in a specified range. CONSTITUTION:A distillate is obtd. by the distillation of a crude oil under normal pressure followed by the vacuum distillation of the bottom oil. Then, arom. ingredients are removed from this distillate by solvent extraction and, if necessary, after purification with a hydroxide, solvent is dewaxed to obtain a crude wax as a by-product in the dewaxing process when a dewaxed oil is obtd. as a base oil for a lubricating oil. Then, this crude oil is furthermore deoiled with a solvent to remove a low b.p. wax to obtain a deoiled wax. The obtd. deoiled wax is distilled to obtain the title compsn. wherein the compositional ratio of each of 22-44C linear satd. hydrocarbons to the whole linear satd. hydrocarbon ingredients is 2wt.% or larger.
