    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve ozone-proof ability without spoiling its external appearance by mixing wax having a high proportion of non normal paraffin into the inner layer of a sidewall, and also mixing wax having a high proportion of normal paraffin into the outer layer. CONSTITUTION:In a pneumatic tire, a sidewall for covering and protecting a carcass 5 has a two layered sidewall structure consisting of the inner layer 2b adjacent to the carcass 5 and the outer layer 2a arranged outside of it. In the above-mentioned constitution, against 100 weight part of rubber component consisting of diene-related rubber, a rubber constituent (A) obtained by mixing 1-6 weight part of oil paraffin wax, in which straight chain hydrocarbon content exceeds 80 weight %, is arranged as the above-mentioned outer layer 2a. Furthermore, against 100 weight part of the rubber component consisting of the diene-related rubber, a rubber constituent (B) obtained by mixing 2-10 weight part of the oil paraffin wax, in which non straight chain hydrocarbon content exceeds 20 weight %, is arranged as the above-mentioned inner layer. Thereby, excellent ozone-proof ability can be fully displayed, and also a fine appearance of the sidewall can be maintained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve ozone-proof ability without spoiling its external appearance by arranging a rubber constituent, in which a mixing volume of paraffin wax is increased in order of the outermost layer, the middle layer and the inner most layer, as a sidewall for covering a carcass. CONSTITUTION:A sidewall for covering a carcass 5 of a pneumatic tire is constituted in a three layered structure consisting of the innermost layer 2c adjacent to the carcass 5, the middle layer 2b arranged outside of it and the outermost layer 2a arranged outside further of it. A rubber constituent, in which a mixing volume of paraffin wax is increased in order of the outermost layer 2a, the middle layer 2b and the innermost layer 2c, is arranged as the sidewall. Furthermore, the rubber constituent of the outermost layer 2a is obtained by mixing less than 3 weight part of the paraffin wax against 100 weight part of rubber component, and also the ratios of the mixing volumes (unit weight part) of the paraffin wax into the outermost layer 2a, the middle layer 2b and the innermost layer 2c are set in such a way that the outermost layer 2a is below 0.8 and the innermost layer 2c is 1.2-3.0, assuming that the ratio of the middle layer 2b is set as 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of wrinkles and cracks in the groove bottom by forming a tread rubber composition of diene group rubber, then mixing more antioxidant into a groove bottom part rubber composition than the tread rubber composition, and setting JIS spring hardness of the groove bottom part rubber composition to be lower than that of the tread rubber composition. CONSTITUTION:A rubber composition A for forming a tread is formed of diene group rubber as a rubber element. A rubber composition B for forming the groove bottom part 3 of the tread is also formed of diene group rubber as a rubber element, but more antioxidant is mixed therein compared to the tread rubber composition A and its JIS spring hardness is set lower than that of the tread rubber composition A. The non-cured rubber strip 2 of the rubber composition B for the groove bottom 3 is then stuck like a plate to the part, corresponding to the groove bottom part 3, of the non-cured tread l of the rubber composition A, and molded/cured to form the tread.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve resistance to ozone and prevent the lowering of adhesion of a carcass ply by reducing the number of weight parts of sulfur in the rubber element of a side wall formed of plural layers from the side wall inner layer gradually toward the outer layer in a pneumatic tire for a motor lorry or the like. CONSTITUTION:In the case of forming a side wall for covering/protecting a carcass ply 5 into two-layer structure formed of an outer layer 2-a and an inner layer 2-b, for instance, the number of weight parts of sulfur per 100 parts by weight of a rubber element in the side wall is gradually reduced from the inner layer 2-b toward the outer layer 2-a. That is, the inner wall 2-b is set to 1.6-3.0 parts by weight, and the outer layer 2-a is set to 1.5 parts by weight. The sulfur bound mode of the outer layer 2-b is set in such a way that mono- sulfide binding is more than 10%. In the outer layer 2-a, paraffin wax containing 80 wt.% of normal paraffin is mixed at the ratio of 1.0-10 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the rubber element, whereas 1.0-10 parts of weight of paraffin wax containing 20-45wt.% of non-normal paraffin is mixed in the inner layer 2-b.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a tire having good high-speed durability and wear resistance and well suited to heavy load and high-speed radial tire by dividing a tread into a tread-central part and tread side parts at a specified ratio, and constituting the respective parts by specified rubber-composites. CONSTITUTION:A heavy load and high-speed radial tire is provided with belts 3 between a carcass 1 and a tread 2, and the tread 2 is divided into a tread- central part and tread side parts 5. In this case, in the tread-central part 4, a ground contact width S ranging 30 to 85% of the ground contact width W at the time when a regual load is applied, is provided around the tire-equatorial plane. Further, the tread-central part 4 is constituted by a rubber-composite where a rubber in which a ratio of mixed rubber such as natural rubber, etc., to poly-butadiene rubber ranges from 80/20 to O/100 is blended. Furthermore, the tread side part 5 is constituted by a rubber-composite where a rubber in which a ratio of mixed rubber such as natural rubber, etc., to poly-butadiene rubber ranges from 100/0 to 80/20, and a rubber mixed with a rubber selected from a group of specific rubbers, are blended.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the degree of satisfying the performance required for an all-season type pneumatic tire for a bus etc., by building up a cap rubber and a base rubber, both having prescribed characteristics, in a predetermined manner so as to form a tire tread into a compound tread part. CONSTITUTION:A compound tread part 4 is formed with both an upper rubber layer 6, which is situated above a surface connecting bottoms of shallow parts 9a-11a of transverse grooves 9-11, and a lower rubber layer 7, which is divided in transverse direction at just below the upper layer by main grooves 8 and forms a rib pattern in the peripheral direction. At this time, the upper rubber layer 6 is formed with a cap rubber whose JIS-based hardness at -20 deg.C does not exceeds 75 degrees, while the lower rubber layer 7 whose JIS-based hardness at 100 deg.C is at least 54 degrees and whose loss tangent value for 50Hz, 25 deg.C, and strain of 2% is 0.22 or less. With this constitution, the performance required for a tire can be satisfied all the year round.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the title compsn. from static ozone deterioration over a wide temp. range when a linear satd. hydrocarbon of a specified carbon number is compounded in a rubber product and to improve the appearance of the product by setting the proportion of the linear satd. hydrocarbon in a specified range. CONSTITUTION:A distillate is obtd. by the distillation of a crude oil under normal pressure followed by the vacuum distillation of the bottom oil. Then, arom. ingredients are removed from this distillate by solvent extraction and, if necessary, after purification with a hydroxide, solvent is dewaxed to obtain a crude wax as a by-product in the dewaxing process when a dewaxed oil is obtd. as a base oil for a lubricating oil. Then, this crude oil is furthermore deoiled with a solvent to remove a low b.p. wax to obtain a deoiled wax. The obtd. deoiled wax is distilled to obtain the title compsn. wherein the compositional ratio of each of 22-44C linear satd. hydrocarbons to the whole linear satd. hydrocarbon ingredients is 2wt.% or larger.
