Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent an undesired line from being closed by independently counting a required time for line connection and a time required for setting up a FAX control procedure. CONSTITUTION: Dial information from an operation section 4 is compared with dial data in a storage section 6 and a CPU 1 discriminates whether or not the preceding connection is successful based on received dial information and acquires the line when successful and sends the received dial information to the line as a selection signal via a line connection section 5. Then the time required for line connection and the time required for setting up a FAX control procedure (initial identification time) are counted independently. When the line connection is not finished even lapse of the line connection required time, the FAX control procedure is not transited but the line is made open.

CONSTITUTION:When G3 direct transmission arises newly while the memory transmission of G4 is executed through a channel B2, a data communicating part 110 is set starting by a CPU, and first of all, a request to send is given to a communication control part 61. In the communication control part 61, the dead channel of communication is confirmed. When a G3 control part 64 knows the receiving capacity of an opposite party terminal, it informs the CPU of this through the communication control part 61. Thus, an original having been read by a data input part is delivered to the data communicating part 110 after being accumulated in a data accumulating memory. The G3 direct transmission can be operated simultaneously with the G4 memory transmission by making the insides of the G3 control part 64 and the G3 control part 63 double-communicative in this way.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a waiting time for the other service and to economically execute bulk-transfer by controlling a system to bulk-transfer in a time zone when at least either of a line using charge or a line using frequency at the time of outputting a call is low. A relation between a communication time zone and a charge at respective networks are previously stored in a network charging table 34 and a relation between the using frequency and the communication time zone of B channel is stored in a using frequency table 35. CPU 31 refers to the tables 34, 35 and controls the equipment not to bulk-transfer when present time is in the time zone of a high using charge and/or when an accumulating using frequency at the present time is higher than a threshold.

When the analysis is finished, the result is discriminated and when the character is a symbol such as for relay/multiple address/dial registration, the processing that each dial information described on the line is read and stored in an operating buffer is implemented.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment which improves the efficiency of the memory of a server, eliminates the rejection of incoming and is easy for a transmission-side user to use by equipping the facsimile equipment with a means which retrieves log-in information on a LAN, a means which receives data, and a data distributing means which distributes data received by a terminal device on the LAN. SOLUTION: Once an incoming is detected, the image data are received in S502 and then it is decided in following S503 whether or not the data reception is completed. When it is decided that the data reception is completed, an advance to S504 is made to decide whether or not the transmitting station side has specified which terminal on the LAN the data are distributed to at the time of the data reception. When the distribution destination is designated, a distribution table is referred to in S505 and it is decided in S506 whether or not the designated user name has logged in. When the user is logged in, an advance to S511 is made to copy the data to the management area of the specified user present on the server.
