    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester block copolymer composition having excellent moldability applicable to various moldings such as flow molding without problems, having good heat resistance and rubber-like elasticity. SOLUTION: In preparing a polyester block copolymer, reacting a crystalline aromatic polyester (A) and a lactone (B), 0.1-200 mol% at least one of an aliphatic and an aromatic polyfunctional compounds (D) having at least 3 of a carboxyl group (i), a hydroxyl group (ii), and/or an ester forming group of them (iii) in a molecule is added to 100 mol% crystalline aromatic polyester (A), and 0.1-5.0 pts.wt. at least an epoxy compound (C) having at least an epoxy group and 0-2.0 pts.wt. carbodiimide compound (E) are added to the polyester block copolymer obtained by the reaction, and then it is heated and kneaded to obtain this polyester block copolymer composition.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester block copolymer composition exhibiting moldability excellent enough to be applied without hindrance to blow molding and other molding, good in heat resistance and having rubber elasticity. SOLUTION: In preparing a polyester block copolymer composition by reacting a crystalline aromatic polyester (A) bearing a hydroxyl group at an end of the molecule with a lactone compound (B), a polyfunctional compound (D) bearing one or more, totaling at least three, of a carboxyl group, a hydroxyl group and an ester-forming group thereof is added in an amount of 0.1-100 mole % to 100 mole % of (A) to effect a reaction thereby to give a polyester block copolymer (P), and then to 100 pts.wt. of which are added 0.5-5.0 pts.wt of an epoxy compound (C) having at least one functionally (provided that at least 0.2 pt.wt. of an epoxy compound having two or more functionally is contained) and, if required, 0-2.0 pts.wt of a carbodiimide compound (E) followed by heating and kneading to give the objective polyester block copolymer composition.
