    Abstract: Preparation of silicate and/or oxygenic filler-containing rubber powder or granulate, based on aqueous rubber emulsion or latex, involves suspension of silicate and/or filler, polysiloxane hydrophobizing agent and nonionic surfactant in water, adjustment of the pH to 2.5-7, separation of the deposited rubber powder from the solid particles, and drying the powdered or granulated product to a moisture content of less than 3%. A process for preparation of silicate and/or oxygenic filler-containing rubber powder or granulate based on aqueous rubber emulsion or latexes involves: (a) suspension of a silicate and/or oxygenic filler, polysiloxane hydrophobizing agent(s) (in amount 0.5-7% relative to the filler) and nonionic surfactant(s) (in amount 0.1-2% relative to the filler) at 10-60 degrees C in water, giving a suspension of density 0.5-5%, (b) addition of the rubber latex emulsion to the filler suspension with stirring, (c) adjustment of the pH of the aqueous mixture with an acid, preferably sulfuric acid or aluminum sulfate to a pH of 2.5-7, (d) separation of the deposited rubber powder from the process water by, for example, solid/liquid separation of the solid particles, (e) molding of the filter cake, and (f) drying of the powdered or granulated product to an end moisture content of less than 3%.

    Abstract: The invention relates to the organic silanpolysulphane mixture of the general formula (RO)3 Si (CH2)xS-Sz-S(CH2)xSi (ОR)3 (I) where R – linear or branched C1-8 alkyl, in particular C1-3 alkyl X – the whole number 1-8 z – the whole number 0-6; the total organic silanpolysulphane with z=0 or z=1 representing at least 80 mass % in the mixture providing that the fraction with z=0 is below 80% while the fraction with z equal 2 through 6 does not exceed 20%. The invention relates also to the rubber compositions on the basis of these mixtures in particular for the tracks of the tire protectors.

    Abstract: Surface modification of natural or synthetic oxidic or silicate fillers (I) comprises using one or more organosilicon cpds. of formula: (R'n(RO)3-nSi-(Alc)m-(Ar)p)q(B) (I). In (I), B = -SCN (when q = 1) or -Sx- (when q = 2); R and R' = 1-4C alkyl, phenyl in which every R and R' is identical or different, R = 1-4C-alkyl-1-4C-alkoxy gp.; n = 0, 1 or 2; alc = bivalent, linear or branched 1-6C hydrocarbon; m = 0 or 1; Ar = 6-12C arylene gp.; p = 0 or 1 (p+m does not equal 0); x = 2-8. The novelty is that: (a) at least one organosilicon cpd. is intensively mixed with the filler at temps. less than 60 deg.C in a concn. of up to 3.5 x 10 power (-6) mol. trialkoxysilyl gps. on a square meter of filler surface; (b) followed by hydrophobising the homogenised mixt. in a preheated mixer, tempered bed or another suitable heated reaction vessel at temps. larger than 60 deg.C.
